Eh, it caused me to shuffle around my plans with the Emperor and up his age a bit, but my new ideas are even more fun~
I'm also ruling it that the Empress was in charge of your early upbringing and the Emperor is the one responsible for you learning to fight, if that's ok with you.
Edit: Oh, and you just earned the party another NPC ally. I guess I have to bump up Chapter One's difficulty to compensate.

All else fails I tone down the Prologue a bit and have him join Chapter 1.

Darius Deathknell is the son of a prominent member of the Revenant Guard, an elite brotherhood of soldiers rumored to be the walking dead by those who have faced them. Though their inhuman resilience and deathless resolve have rather more mundane explanations than that, they are nonetheless a well-respected, well-feared, and very effective collection of warriors... at least, when they can drag a battle out long enough for their superior rejuvenation to wear an enemy down.

Naturally, Darius was expected to join his father's illustrious order when he came of age, a fate he was most eager for. He's now thrilled to finally get his chance to bring honor to the Revenant Guard, as well as himself and his family.

He looks rather more like a knight in shining armor than a walking corpse, however, having a young, handsome face, golden hair and eyes, and a somewhat noble air about him.

A second meatwall appears! Theoretically. We'll have to see how this plays out to know if regen tanking is brilliant or stupid. :I

Also my other tendency was to try a future myrmidon, just in case you were wondering what this thing's alternatives were.

For some strange reason I have the utmost contempt for Dodge. Dunno why, not taking 3x damage sounds like an awesome way to keep living, but it just seems so useless somehow.

As for hit and evasion, it doesn't boost them very efficiently, if you're thinking Dodge isn't worth your time.


That said, being crit is probably exactly how I'm going to die, low HP and all. :I
