Toaster was set to hang before he made his desperate claim.

As in, he clearly wouldn't have claimed if he weren't about to die (more evidence that he doesn't genuinely want to co-operate)

What, so now everybody agrees with me?

I'd also like to know how Lenglon knows Irony is the third witch, but I'm really not surprised.

I'm actually paying attention to the game? maybe?
Look at Irony's most recent post a little harder.

It is encrusted with sharkmist and HMRC. On the item is an image of HMRC and Pancaek. Pancaek is laughing. The HMRC is melting. The artwork relates to the encasing of the HMRC in metal by Pancaek during the Mission of Many People.))

Uh, that may be why I'm pretty sure Irony is the 3rd witch, yeah.  I was just wondering if you had some special ability...sorry...

Also damn anybody who criticized my mafia game TM7 for having all the mafia claim.  I've had 2/3rd of them claim right in front of me!

If there's another third-party it's gotta be Leafsnail though (as either the Death Shaman or that third possibility).  His deduction at the start of this day on Witch Maiden, Witch Crone, and Witch Mother are far too spot on to be a townie deduction I feel.  Unless these exact names were listed somewhere I don't see how Leafsnail could know the other witches would be called "Crone" and "Mother" and Toaster has confirmed the "Crone" one.

The maiden/mother/crone trio is pretty common in pop culture.  I learnt about it in the Discworld books, specifically Wyrd Sisters.  Please don't make me link tvtropes.

Although tvtropes alleges that two characters from Heart of Darkness fit the "trope", maybe that's relevant.

Probably not considering it's clearly a trope that requires three characters

Did none of you read the first two games?  Maiden/Mother/Crone should have been bloody obvious.

Well, looks like there's nothing more I can say.

The shamans are basic forces in the form of humans.  Whether they take a human's form or not is unclear, but they are highly driven to further that force, at the cost of anything else.  It's very rare to see one at all- two is exceedingly unlikely, and when they're opposed, especially as opposed as life and death, bad things happen.

HMR stands for Hazardous Materials Requisition, not Horrible Massive Ruination, though I can understand how one could get confused.

This, but also isn't that the same idea as the (Greek myth) fates?

The triple goddess is pretty much a neopagan invention, but yeah people have claimed that.

I still haven't read WC1 or WC2.  I don't really have the time.
