Oh god this is totally one of those things that I could spend all my free time getting sucked into, I just know it.
...
I might sign up.
Baade has two lovecraft religions if you're into that, House of Cthulhu (founded by the now dead House Alhazred) and Temple of the Old Ones, founded by Ingram, due to dissatisfaction with the "that is not dead which can eternal lie" management style of the House of Cthulhu by the catatonic Gaigolos. Luck of the draw whether you end up here though.
Other major religions include the Golden Vale, who believe they should make the world a better place because they'll eventually be reborn here as the wheel of reincarnation turns, sort of enlightened self-interest. Imperialism, which seems to be the "religious fundementalists" religion. Highlights include "support the emperor", "cybernetic implants are bad, we should tell the dolphins that", "polygamy is bad, we must tell a planet known for its polygamy that polygamy is bad", "chaos is bad. I mean the magical chaos. Normal chaos too though". Also Zotropism, the wishy washy religion of tolerance between faiths (tell that to the dozens of planets you have a 99.1% following on by ruthlessly wiping out their native religions), who pursue enlightenment through meditation or something.
Did I forget anyone *goes and checks*, oh yes, Cultus Col was revived, but it's owner is in the process of timing out, so I'm hoping it'll die again, and, ah, the Way of the Hunt, a minor fringe cult who apparently likes hunting and the chase. That's all we have. I'd be ruthlessly suppressing this utterly bland little faith if it isn't bad form to do that to a completely new faith. Well that and the owner is bigger and stronger than me.
My own religion is Ur-technica, a dead faith I picked up, which is super awesome for reasons I refuse to explain.
