So I go into town and ask what I can do to help, they point me to a vampire in the local catacombs 'who has killed four thousand and eleven' people, which is astonishing.

I go down there with a random elf bowyer prison that was hanging out in a hut and I bump into him. It's just some basically helpless, naked dwarf peasant and the elf carved him up with his carving knife and was basically dead before I could reach him.

Sheesh, you'd think sometime before the vampire's 4000th victim somebody would have thought to just stab the guy.
