Also, we have a 200mm gun already designed and built, you guys can just adapt a stationary emplacement for it if you want to make coastal batteries

Because a 6 barrel gun requires 2-3 people to operate, rather then 6 to operate 6 guns, you put 6-7 of the 6 barrel guns in strategic positions and they can cover each other.
They provide a better spread then 6 seperate gunners can as well.

Brood, why not just design an AA gun, then design a 6-gun mounting system? Or alternately, design a 6-gun mounting for the TP-1?

My suggestion:

Points allocation: Tryrar's is nice

Designs:

PKP Hammer
What is it: 380mm coastal defense gun, covered by a layer of concrete, designed to knock out enemy ships and provide support for the land forces
10 novice engineers

Pigeon
What is it: Light scout helicopter, with pilot and enough space to carry 150 kg cargo, or one gunner with TP-1 machinegun, should use mix of wood and light alloys for the hull.
9 novice engineers and metallurgist

TP-1s, and LUPs are more than enough against air force of that time, we need no dedicated AA guns at this time

And no, 6 barrel gun is a ridiculous concept, heavy, large target, needs 10+ men to rotate, ammo overwaste and so on. Yes it's soviet style, but let's not make our own T-35s(google it)

Not really, you only need 3 people for it because it holds tens of thousands of rounds on the boxes on the sides and then takes less then a minute to reload, where as a single barrel gun is probably going to hit nothing to begin with, require more man power to produce the same volume of fire and require 2 people per gun, so 12 people for 6 barrels or 12 people for 24 barrels. I like mine more.

tens of thousands rounds? LOL, what caliber you want that gun to be?

And how the hell you'll rotate a weapon that weights 20 tons+?

Soviet post-war guad AA machine-gun weights 2 tons and has 5 men crew,  and it has only 4800 rounds (1200 per barrel), think about it

Brood, are you talking belt fed or hopper fed? Either way, 4 gun mounts already require around 4 people to operate, you are underestimating the manpower something like that requires. Especially if you are talking about a gun that has barrels larger than the german 88mm FlaK!

A single barrel AA gun is completely worthless, what good is an AA gun that will never hit anything, the entire point for 6 barrels is that the fire is concentrated and so has a much higher hit chance then 6 individual guns fired by 6 different people who more then likely will each shoot at different targets, multiple 6 barrel guns will massively out match single barrel.

The coastal gun I'll drop go ahead with the tiny ones, might hit a couple of transports if you get lucky or the drivers are idiots.

When did stating what I think become being an asshole, you lot need to stop taking games so seriously.

But your guns will be ineffective for counter fire against a ship, in this time period they'd never have the power to go through a ships hull and single shots are almost useless against a small moving boat without factoring in the tide jurking the boat around, you'd be lucky to land 1 hit in 10.

Multiple barrels is most effective for AA due to volume of fire and tightest spread, cluster shot is most effective against transport because it massively boosts hit chance by blanketing an area so if the tide moves the ship odds are at least part of the shot will still impact, larger caliber is more effective against ships because it increases the force so gives a better chance of breaching the hull and in this period larger caliber means a larger gun.
But I don't really mind with the coastal gun it just means we're forced to do nothing but defend because our fleet will be sank or blocaded given that we have basically no navy and no time to build it, so I figured large guns is our best bet to atleast allow us a way to counter attack and guns can be build a lot faster then ships.

All simple facts.

The aa gun idea came from this, QF 2-pounder Mark VIII.
But with fewer barrels, longer range and better munitions.
