((Sorry for the short length. I'm tired and i have a headache, most likely from my hayfever. Sorry.

Also, i hope this doesn't break the forum rules. I have tried to be as vague as I think i possibly can, but there is still certain implied actions and a bit of body horror in.

Read at your own risk.))

LICK IT!

You ponder the option of licking the person, but you cannot fathom why you would do so, nor what purpose it would serve.

Use our "new" psychic powers to break the restraints...if successful quip "your right...i am stronger and the Balshaans have another problem!"

You try to move. You find that you can, although your movements are sluggish. You have a headache, and you feel dizzy. The person in front of you tilts their head to one side, seemingly studying you. They make no move to speak or interact with you in any way.

~~~***~~~
Check on Talli.
You try to contact Talli. You ping her, trying to get an answer. It takes longer than it usually does, but Talli does 'pick up' and reply.
"We are here, Katia, although we cannot help you. We do not understand what is going on. You seem to be locked inside some sort of mental dimension of your own creation in which we have no power. It seems you will have to leave on your own....."
You nod, not knowing whether Talli can sense it, however you dont care at the moment as you have more pressing issues to attend to.
You try and use your mental powers to break free, or at the very least, remove or reduce whatever is decreasing your movement speed. You succeed, stretching and flexing your arms at their proper speed, no longer limited by whatever force was previously holding you. You hear a small giggle from the figure and you see it nod, seemingly in approval.
You instantly try to reveal the person in front of you, however your powers dont seem to have any effect on it. You try to move closer, but just before you get within 6 feet, you find you cannot approach any closer. You can still move, but you cannot seem to get within 6 feet of the cloaked figure in front of you.
The figure tilts their head again, humming. You are not sure what the figure is doing.
Who are you? and be ready to find some way to defend yourself using psychic abilities
"Who are you?" You ask, perplexed. "What do you want?"
You hear a small chuckle from the person, a decidedly feminine chuckle, emanate from in front of you.
"Who am I?" She chuckles some more, the chuckle eventually morphing into a full blown laugh. "I'm surprised, really. Surprised that you would not recognize your own mannerisms. Or did you never realise just how much you chuckled, hummed and tilted your head when thinking?"
You gasp as the woman in front of you pulls her hood back. She looks exactly like you, glowing tattoos, eyes and all. She has a friendly, tender smile on her face, her head still tiled to the side. Her long hair tied into a bun behind her head.
"But.....thats not possible, unless i'm going insane." You say, dumbfounded.
"Oh, dont worry Katia. You arent going insane. You are just discovering your true self, the you who has been repressed and shunted to the sidelines for decades.
The truth is, Katia, is that you belong to a race known by the Outsiders as The Watchers. Or, on our tongue, the Tarlaitha. Humanoid beings hailing from much farther away than even the mighty Vanguard dare go.
Your true name, the one your mother gave you, is Katianis Pholena Hearvthood....."
Memories flash before your eyes, long forgotten memories, of a little girl with the golden-white tattoos, golden eyes, glow and long white hair sat next to an adult who looks very, very similar, and also very, very familiar.
*.....mother.....* The word echos in your mind.
Another person enters, a tall man, not heavy set at all, looking more like a regal diplomat than a musclebound soldier or general, strides in with a commanding presence.
*.....father.....* This word also echoes in your mind.
Suddenly, a flood of memories of things you never thought you had experienced flooded into your mind. You bend over backwards clutching your head, panting hard as the memories threaten to overload your mind. Fact after fact about your life start appearing to you.
Your real age; 437 Earth Years.
Your real occupation; Civilisation Observer and Analyst
Your family; Mother, Father, three sisters......
Your race; A race of aliens who take it upon themselves to watch over the universe, but rarely getting involved unless they absolutely have to. Their technology surpasses most civilisations. Their personal knowledge having few equals. More and more knowledge and information flooded into you.
Distracted by the unlocked memories, you did not notice the other you had walked right up to you, so that you stood almost face to face. Stepping forward one last time, she grabbed your head, and looked you in the eye.
"I think its time we wake up, dont you think? We will be one......"
As she finished her sentence, she plants her lips on yours. As soon as your touch, you try to pull away, afraid of what might happen, but find that you cannot pull away from her. Then you feel a rush of energy, as if a whole new entity is entering you. Slowly, as you watch, the other you disintegrates from the feet up, her essence entering through your mouth and nose until she is completely gone.
You stand there, sudden clarity for once.
"I am whole....." You say, still standing in the mental plain, your voice having a strange echo in this mental realm. "Aaaah....its been so long....." You then remember, as the last of your regained memories arrive, why you repressed them in the first place, becoming a new person. Panic sets in as you are forced to relive that terrible moment again.....
*You are happily playing with your new young brother, the first male child in your family. Your father is happy to have another man in the house, and your mother keeps joking how it is nice to have variety. You are home, on leave from your role observing Planet 45,089,039,092, Sector AAF and its rather primitive inhabitants, who seem to be on the verge of another religious war and various other daily happenings of pre-industrial 'Earth', as the natives call it.
You are itching to try your new personal hover apparatus, fresh from the Vlthor Techworks, when there is an alert over the homes systems of there being visitors. Your mother, looking confused, turns to your farther, also confused. Your three sisters who had been busying themselves with various tasks stop as well, sharing confused looks.
Today was supposed to be a family day, a day of relaxation before all but your mother and father return to their duties as Watchers.
As your Mother opened the entrance to your home, she was blown backwards by an implosion weapon, her crimson blood splattering the wall behind her, as well as the faces of your brother and father. You react quickly, grabbing your brother and beginning to stand, trying to get away as three heavily armed warriors of unknown origin, as they were most certainly not Tarlaitha, stormed into the house.
Your father, nowhere near quick enough to grab his sidearm, was the next to die, his head crushed like a Tinki fruit ((Watermelon-like fruit)). His arms fell limp, the weapon dropping from his hand. Your three sisters rushed to you, trying to help you protect the youngest.
All four sisters stood firm against these intruders. However, none were trained in weaponry. It was not a requisite of your job. If detected, you were to leave as soon as would be feasible, not stick around and get into a fight. Observation craft are unarmed for this very reason.
The leader of the intruders laughs, a deep guttural growl.
"LOOK HERE BOYZ! Fresh meat fer the masters." He pauses, looking you and your sisters up and down. "But, b'fore we turn 'em over, we can 'av a little funz with em.....". He laughs again, a sinking feeling dropping to the pit of your stomach as his comrades join in.
You share a very worried look with your sisters, right before you are all put through hell.
There is nothing these brutes didn't do to you. After kidnapping what was left of your family, as well as yourself, and taking you all to a safehouse-like location, they tortured you, violated you and tried to break you in every way possible. They always healed you afterwards, though, seemingly hoping their brutality would not be discovered by their Masters.
They succeeded in breaking your two younger sisters. The brave, proud sisters you once knew had become nothing more than faithful, abused lap dogs, waiting on their new masters hand and foot. They even took part in the torturing of yourself and your older sister.
The fact their once brilliant white-gold body patterns were now a tarnished brass colour was not lost on you, or your older sister. Their soul had been corrupted and broken.
One thing, however, will haunt you until the day you die, more than the torture, beatings, humiliation and all the rest.
One day, after a rather brutal beating, you and your sister, who was barely conscious at the point of time in question, were shackled to the side of the room with matter-restraints. A few minutes later, a new leader not the original home invader arrives, with one of his lackeys guiding your brother into the room. He seems to be of a different race.
With a quick glance and a look of disgust, the leader of this troop of barbarians kicked your sister awake, and beat both of you some more before returning to your scared, but surprisingly unharmed, little brother.
"The masters ask again. This will be their last time. Join them, and use the powers your bloodline holds to serve them, as the faithful little creatures your sisters have proven you can be."
In response, he receives a double splattering of blood as you both spit on him.
"Very well...." He growls. With a single motion of his hand, he signals to his lackey, who then proceeds to gut and fillet your brother, still alive, in front of your very eyes.
Your sister faints and falls to the floor, only to be kicked away again so that she can hear the screams of her brother as he dies. You fall to your knees, too numb to do anything but watch. Eventually, the poor young one, barely 5 years old, lets out his final death rattle.
The barbarian leader chuckles manically. "We warned you." He laughs as you break down sobbing. Your sister faints once again.
He then orders his man to collect up the raw fillets of Tarlaithan and bring them to him. He then proceeds to force feed both you and your sister each one, forcing you to chew and swallow.
Once all was done, he leaves with his lackey close behind. The only sounds their footfalls and the wailing of the grieving sisters, clutching to one another in the corner, bleeding after another beating and torture routine.
You cannot say how long you were there, only that by the time you escaped with your sister, things on your old watch world, 'Earth' had changed so much that they were now in the middle of what they called the Industrial Revolution, near to the introduction of bolt action weapons into the planets militaries.
You both decided to hide here. To take on a human persona and forget your old lives, using your technology to artificially advance and regress when needed in age to keep up the charade.
The rest is a blur, until your reawakening.
*
You come back to your senses, now awake fully and out of the mental dimension. You can feel the hot tears falling down your face. You cannot help but let out a heart wrenching wail, again mourning for your brother, mother, father and sisters. You hardly notice the nurses as they slowly lay you down on the hospital bed again, your new blanket pressed into your hands.
You cry yourself to sleep under the watchful eye of a rather burly male nurse.
They spoke of the powers of Katia's bloodline, let us find what those are. Give her some time to grieve and have her try to remember as Much of Tarlaithan Culture and homeworld locations as possible, along with the location at present of her sister if possible. Tell her friends of the memories, and swear the strongest tarlaithan oath she can remember (if none are strong enough, use a human or Morey oath) for revenge on the bastards who captured her and her sisters, and killed or mindraped her family. Be ready and vigilant as you awake, for the Von Uberbastard clan may be attacking (they are currently an unknown, it is as good a name as any, given their habits).
Goddamn it Khan, that was tragic and beautiful storytelling. Now it is time for Katia to suit up against the legion of sadistic Orks led by Dark Eldar.
Orcs?
I thought they were Irish dwarves with a blacker personality.
Anyhow yes to everything but telling anyone. They won't understand unless we show them..I'd think it be better if they simply knew where we stand and that's it.
