If we can get them near to the out side then we can open a bit of the hull and send then out in to space.

These close-quarters are really amplifying the Belshaan melee ablities, and working undercover should have prevented them from bringing their best equipment. I say shoot the walls, throw in demolition charges, reconfigure the ship into an open cavern...

+1 call support from remaining vanguard troops and brood sisters to hunt down the Balkans with rocket launchers, grenades, and anything to blow holes in any place they can hide in.

"DO NOT LET THE BALSHANS OR THE PRESIDENT ESCAPE!"

Also see if we can take the presidents assistants corpse back. We could find out more about their anatomy/armor.

We'd risk ourselves and the corpse of the the balshans that we can experiment later on.

Yes xcomisque but it could help us on the long run AND help the morey leadership not present have proof of the...betrayal we'll call it.

A Mark 21 Phantom Powered Exoskeleton Suit, must have an air supply of some kind, and how bad is a little space trip going to be for the corpses?

+1 to the autopsy.

Good point but I just don't want it to get lost or burned up in a possible explosion/burned by incoming laser cannon fire.

It has already survived a direct hit from a capital ship's weapon, is probably being absorbed into the gestalt as we speak, and flash-freezing it is probably the best way to counter any self-destruct mechanisms. Sadly, space has thermal conduction issues which preclude(based upon setting, as always, and if the setting has flash-freeze space then better to find out before we get complacent about exposure...) flash-freezing, so, does anyone know where the major coolant conduits are?

Let's just take the dead corpses ((one of each)) back to the escape pods.

Shouldn't we keep the ship to learn how to counter their aiming counter measures?

More to the point, this is a Morey vessel, and the Morey were dominant in the outer-system. So the sun is probably some distance away, and there are probably an abundance of escape vehicles available, and who-knows what sort of stealth abilities are available. I mean, they evidently got to Morey space without the Vanguard noticing... Also, even if the Vanguard have already had abundant opportunity to acquire samples, this could be a rather unique opportunity to observe hybrid technology, if nothing else, making their technology compatible with Morey systems would likely simplify reverse-engineering efforts.

All the more reason to keep this ship as intact as possible as well as any corpses.

All im saying is at the very LEAST we should have at least 2 corpses that are confirmed dead, be taken back to an escape shuttle for experimentation. If the ship survives then good we get more tech but in case the Balshaan try to cut looses we need to have some SMALL reward that can help us in future battles.

+1 to the autopsy.

Also we should probably ask Talli if our suit has basic space suitability.

if they are fighting a war then they probably have plenty of opportunity for autopsy. And these folk seem somewhat... gelatinous... it may not be so much a case of 'alive' and 'dead' but more 'active and dangerous' or 'dormant but dangerous'. If you ask me then the two 'dead' ones are probably now components in that one large one...

But yes, certain, any we see, feel free to throw them out into space. Speaking of which, are we currently in close proximity to a large hole in the side of the ship?

((Update will be tomorrow evening.))

Speaking of which, are we currently in close proximity to a large hole in the side of the ship?

((Yes. However, in this way the various defensive capabilities of the Morey ship can come into play. The energy and particle shielding are preventing the venting of atmosphere....for now.))

Ask about the balshaan and whether or not to take corpses back for autopsy.

By the way Khan are you going to update soon or wait for more input?
