"We swore that we would never leave my sisters in chains, either we all come or none of us do."

{{No, we need to garner intel ourselves for fluff and gaming purposes.}}

*withdraw hand*

"Dr. Ala-Shar was strong, but she was fair. How can i gurantee her safety as well as my..compatriot Morey? Your right in your assesment that me and my sisters want freedom. I want to put hands on the Presidentees and i'd love to be able to go back being human. Not a Morey test tube super soldier, not a Vangaurd psychosit combat specialist, who BY THE WAY..play with their food too much, No?"

"I accept as soon as we're able to cross High waters to take the current presidentees out of the picture and unite the Morey, after which i beleive they on their own will find peace and not need me or my Brood sisters. I'll help any way possible and if i work hard i can even get my Brood to accept your offer, but i refuse to leave the good Doctor and i Refuse to leave the Morey who after seeing their flaws are good people when the Presidentees dosen't intimidate them. As for the Slinkarr i have one contact who im in good relations with but her comrades are not in such equal footing. These last 5 years they've only accepted our presence but don't actively work with us."

"One more thing, you probed my mind and say their is absolutely nothing of use? Not even the wereabouts of our camps?*

*chuckle*

"Were the Psycho power rangers sneaking in my meeting not too long ago?"

*hear answers*

"Before you go, i am responcible for killing how many orbital drop troops 5 years ago? Brigandier Xanders Berginstaff isn't even fazed by the idea of giving amnestry for the murder and quite honest Nuisance that was me?"

"I don't think there was a SINGE thing i could do to win that fight but i must have taken a quarter of Orbital troops and suprised your boys all the way to the end with shenanigans, and your fine with that? Would you blame me for being a wee bit skeptical?"

Defection is always the answer!

I agree but let's not just jump ahead, not ALL the morey were complete sadistic bastards. Heck the regulars and even the special forces Morey commanders seems really happy to work with us and listen to what we had to say.

is it that Annastasia, Katia had 2 daughters
Quote
young Annastasia and Katarinka
I think we should defect, but only on the condition that none of our comrades will be harmed.
This is utterly beautiful

sacrifices are necessary, but if the threat spoken of scares the vanguard, all should unite on pain of being utterly f***ed

What would our character defect after 5 LONG years of sacrifice?

Come on let's liberate the Morey via taking out the president, and giving power to a peace activist or something.

EDIT: Sorry my phone screwed up my message.

ask whether we will have an ability to request the capture instead of killing of certain Morey (read Ala-Shar) and to ask our comrades if they wish to defect if you find out the vanguard  know where the camps are playing on their abandonment
I really hope the vanguard are telling the truth, and aren't Lawful Evil Jerkasses like the Morey high command, and the slinkar queens

It'd be a good idea to do a bit of snooping around, asking questions, and counter-interogations via softpower eh?

Think about this: if we just put all our eggs in the Vangaurd basket and we don't like it, where do we go to? Not the people we just defected from.

Besides it's better we keep our brood out of any deal making until were 100% sure we can trust them.

> Ask about the nature of this enemy.
> Ask why they need us when they have people who can turn invisible and a vast arsenal of super soldiers.
> Ask what they expect us
> Ask about why no one on earth knows about the Vanguard?
> Ask to show the enemy via pictures, logs, videos, artifacts, or anything that can identify an actual threat.
> offer to help IF they can get there High command to agree to help us dispose of the Presidentees.

We'll turn into whatever assassin, saboteur, or commando they want as long as we unify the Morey under a leadership that wants peace. *cough* Get Ala-Ashar to join *cough*

EDIT: Praying for an update..even though i shouldn't expect things like that from people.

Didn't we give a motivational speech to one of our top minions about how we were totally going to kill those horrible vanguard people?

Personally I kinda thought it was a bad idea, but I wasn't around to inject my opinion at the time.

Just saying.

((I believe that the plan is to acquire the Morey and Slinkar, and any other enemies that the Vanguard have, as allies. So the wholesale genocide of the Morey is not currently being suggested. However, it is a war, specific targets are difficult to track, guaranteeing the safety of specific people is difficult and expensive at best. The major issue is whether or not to trust them. Both the Morey and the Slinkar seem to be outright scared of the vanguard. If the vanguard offered a cease-fire, informed the Slinkar and Morey of an enemy that scared the Vanguard, and offered technology in exchange for assistance against this enemy, then, well, it seems that the Vanguard could make an offer that would be too good to refuse. Combined with a promise to hunt down and destroy enemy leadership if hostilities continues it would likely put the forces perpetuating the hostilities in a position to accept or face opposition even from their allies...
Really, thus far, the Morey and Slinkar seem to have no clear idea of the Vanguard motivations, if the Vanguard truly wish to reach a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it seems odd that there is not more dialogue. Particularly between the soldiers. The occasion in which we established dialogue with the Vanguard command prior to losing the system seemed to be a surprise to everyone and something that just didn't otherwise occur.))
Ask what they wanted with this star system.
Ask for a list of Morey vessels destroyed or captured when the star system was captured.

I do not really trust the Vanguard. Let's not forget what they did to Elianna's brood. It seems that there are a lot of decent people amongst the Morey who are going along with bad things due largely to a war that the Vanguard seem to largely be in control of. The loyalty probes seem to be largely based upon Vanguard technology, which doesn't say much for their ethical standards...
Ask them to let us leave, with a vanguard diplomat, to present their offer to our allies.

Morey and slinakarr don't know English. Remember the evil, sadistic, and powerful stereotype we were given by the morey (an ari)?

Well, they most likely have them ones but how many a times has a Morley spoken English? Even Xander was like "...surprising".

They want us as a mouth price or a double agent. They want to get allies and resources for this on-going war with the "boogeyman".

That's my opinion now how we turn it into a plus is by good negotiations.
