I don' think we're playing a pacificstic game, or at least I don't plan to, but the fact that it appeared this way has basically 2 reasons:

1) There is no point in doing it this early in the game. Sure, I could assassinate scriptwolfs ruler, but whats the point? He has no heir at the moment, so the only thing I would achieve is that we would have to restart from a savegame so he could pick a different country to play, while I just blew away several decades worth of income (see point 2). Why should I expend ressources for something that doesn't change the status quo or benefits me in any way?

It is much more fun to destroy someones sandcastle that they spend several hours on, rather than just kicking up sand before they even started to build it.

2) The mod. Or rather the starting conditions. The utter lack of any infrastructure in every province slows down the early game massively. You might remember my monthly income of 0.2 gold, because I whined about it several times, which means I would have to accumulate wealth for 60 years just to build a castle village which would only pay for itself after 100 years. This makes this mod nearly unplayable in Multiplayer (unless you're starting big, or have an ungodly amount of patience).

Luckily this is quite easy to solve. We can just use the console to give every player 2000 gold (or some other agreed upon sum) to build up some infrastructure.

I'd actually agree with point 2, as even as one of the larger Kingdoms (I believe me and you are two of the largest at the moment) my infrastructure is terrible, only being able to afford a palisade in my entier time playing. The money would also allow some people to employ mercenaries and begin pressing claims, since people are picking smaller nations no one has the military might to press anything.

Also with that money I could conquest a lot more of high rock and become the big bad, I would be able to control a lot of the East coast after a few more games and be able to offer up a legit challenge. This is rather easy for me as I can conquest land in pretty quick succession.

Tempting but I don't know whether I'd be able to make it every session in the next few weeks. It's also something minor but I'm avoiding a real game of Elder Kings until they put in even placeholders for the female argonians.

Don't think you can use the console commands in multiplayer. It desyncs the game.

Edit: I think you can get a hold of the map, play as each of the characters people have chosen, then give them the 2000 - 5000 gold each. That way you'll avoid the desync.

By the way, I don't think the Dark Brotherhood works in this version. I tried it on my own and nothing happens. Also the AI seems to get giant stacks of 1500 troops out of thin air for some reason. I don't know if they're mercs or not since I doubt anyone could afford the 1000+ merc armies with the pathetic income everyone gets and they definitely couldn't have recruited that many troops when they only have 3 provinces. Maybe the AI cheats for money as well.

Though I'd say if you do this, you should only give republics a fraction of this amount. They never had any money problems to begin with and all the gold does is bring other people on par with them.

Most dukedoms and kingdoms have knightly orders of 300-500 men and retinues, which makes up like 500-700 guys the rest are levies. Not to mention some nations (like imperial commune) get more special vassalised mercs.

I'll be in again. I believe this was said before, but we should all start together, such as the Morrowind Great Houses and Republics or counts under a single Great House. It should keep the game more intresting.

Yeah I think that would be a good thing or atleast near to each over so if we all want in morrowind then a guy could take a argonian leader down south or one of the nords to the west?
