Mention that there is a bounty on the dead guy at the mages guild, and that you'll split it with whoever wants to haul the remains out of the dungeon.

Remember this?

Get Squishee into a small knife
Extract droplets of Blood onto Hexagon, if that doesn't work, drop more blood onto the pedestal, if that still doesn't work, add droplets into the Light Holes.

Our blood should prove well enough, as immortals don't tend to bleed.

See if we can use some of that blood on our robe before we engauge self mutilation procedures.

Yell at the engraving like an imbecile, immortals are usually not that stupid.

Oh. And if all else fails, throw Red Handed Jack's corpse on all the key puzzle components in turn. Being dead is the only 100% surefire way to prove mortality.

Yell at the engraving like an imbecile, immortals are usually not that stupid.

You BABBLE LIKE AN IMBECILE at the room's major features.
Nothing happens, other than everyone looking at you weird.

Mention that there is a bounty on the dead guy at the mages guild, and that you'll split it with whoever wants to haul the remains out of the dungeon.

You ask the others if they want to carry the corpse out in exchange for some of the reward.
JAMES is too small and CHARLIE is superstitious about hauling around bodies, but JESSE says he would be happy to help.

Get Squishee into a small knife
Extract droplets of Blood onto Hexagon, if that doesn't work, drop more blood onto the pedestal, if that still doesn't work, add droplets into the Light Holes.

Our blood should prove well enough, as immortals don't tend to bleed.

You make a small cut on your face while JESSE leaves to retrieve the body.

Wiping your blood on the various PUZZLE COMPONENTS doesn't effect them in any way you're aware of.

See if we can use some of that blood on our robe before we engauge self mutilation procedures.

You scrape the dried blood off your ROBES and insert some into a hole.

Two CLICKING SOUNDS emanate from the hole in quick succession, and a DEITY'S SYMBOL appears.
Unless you're mistaken, it appears to be the symbol of ABSCONDUS, GOD OF CONCEALMENT.

Ask James if that symbol helps him understand the enchantment any...

JAMES says that the enchantments on this face of thy CRYSTAL have disappeared.
He hypothesizes that if all the enchantments are removed, the SWORD will be released.

If the enchantment is off on that side, can't we just smash that pane of glass and grab the sword?

Translation: We should turn off all the enchantments, then take the crystal cover thingy and sell it.

YES. That, or keep it in our Tower. I'm sure we could find a use for it.
