Hmm. That seems to be near/at the border between the two European nations...have fun and !!fun!!

EDIT: On an almost-similar note, what I came to talk about. For level of tech, what may I assume? Near future? Because I'm wanting monofilament optic fiber cables or something to be able to act as nerve replacements and routers for interfacing with computers. What with the lack of effective thumbs.

Some fields have 2040-2050 technology, while others have only 1950-1960 technology.  It all depends upon if it would be needed/stage of development etc.  What I mean by this is, why would you need to develop technology X if dragon ability Y could already do that, more efficiently than the technology will (ex. Why would you need to extensively develop vaccines to diseases if a dragon with curative ability can easily heal you).  This, in turn, would lead to other areas being further developed (ex. motion-based interfaces for computers to allow ease of access for dragons).

Don't forget the flipside of that. Some areas would be developed because HUMANS would want to have similar levels of abilities like Dragons.

Thus, I get my mech-walkers; so humans have something that can contend with dragons up close.

The Saharan Tribes are a screwed up, not united land that is constantly fighting unless invaded, when they show their fangs. The Moors are slowly, bit by bit, convincing individual chieftains and leaders to join them, or blitzkrieging more resistant ones.
Malinese Consulate rather than Malinese Nation.
Prosperous and True Balkan Tsardom rather that Czar's Russia.
Yameirin Empire rather than Turks.

I'm not trying to say they aren't useful. I'm saying they aren't the Über creations you seem to be presenting them as, with the ability to act as an aircraft carrier, battleship, and bomber at the same time without downsides.

Same background color, very low radar signature. Sure the muzzle flash gives it away, but it'll still be a challenge to find it in the first place.

Oh, and there are downsides. Problem was that well, I was defending multiple possible Zeppelin designs at the same time. The cargoships would make decent bombers, I suppose. The Carrier could maybe serve as a battleship, but I think it's crucially underarmed for that.

The largest problems are their rather low speed, especially near ground areas. This is not meant to be a landing craft, it's supposed to hang back and provide support.

They are heavily understaffed.  He is saying what they could be if fully staffed.  Also, I'm not limiting him to having to use helium and hydrogen as sources used for flight.
