Failing at dumping body?

Seem google catched somebody at a pier about to dump a body. I dont know if its a trail of blood or anything, or if its even a body since the resolution is kinda low but interesting nonetheless dont your think?

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

Damn.  That looks like it could just be wet planks though, the guy might be dragging a wet bag or something.

Looks more like wet wood than blood. Blood is darker.
From the splatter pattern I would guess that somebody was swimming in the water, then went out onto the pier and lay down. The splatter is very wide at the base of the pier, showing they were dripping the most there, then quickly gets thinner as the water runs off them, before there is a large damp spot where they lay down.

Dragging a body would leave more marks on the grass, and also not get as narrow as quickly due to having a lot of blood draining over a slower rate.

Your murder is a quick dip.

EDIT: Also, look at the surrounding area. No cars close by. You don't want to haul a body in daylight that far when you could have driven closer, while the area looks like it would have been great for a walk.
Dumping a body in a tiny lake surrounded by residents when there is a huge lake near by and an ocean slightly further from that? I don't see it.

I find it hilarious that when someone on this forum finds a thing on Google Maps that might be a body dump, instead of getting all upset about what might have happened, they berate the murderer for sucking at eliminating evidence.

This forum is amazing XDD

Well, of course, but I was just marveling at the whole situation.

First, we have someone who managed to find what looked like a body dump on google earth. Somehow.
Then, two people independently disproved this because of different things, one of which was a bit... interesting. (how do YOU know that wood soaked in blood is darker than wood soaked in water?)
And finally, completely ignoring the impossibility, they critiqued the imaginary murder's technique.

Seriously, it's like bay12 is in some sort of insane vortex of genius and sociopathy, and it is amazing.

On a side note, The Netherlands have really neat, nice little planned out suburbs. Mine looks like a mess next to that place...

Definitely a body, you can see the legs and face. Also, fresh blood can easily be that color.

I can tell from the pixels, and from seeing quite a few Google Maps pictures of people dumping bodies in my time.

That sounds fucking hilarious! But it would be bad to laugh if someone got killed or something.

Anyway, I think this looks more like wet wood because,

1) "blood" trail ends at the start of the pier. Did someone drag the body from the road? Then why there aren't any blood trails on the dirt road?
2) There are two trails if you look closely at the end of the pier. It could have been two bodies but the trail is too narrow for that.
3) Dumping a body in daylight isn't very smart. Seriously, it's Murder 101. Even amateurs know that shit.
4) There isn't any cars around the proximity of the pier. Although if these guys are dumping a body in daylight they might be stupid enough to carry a body out in the open or something.
5) "Blood" is pooled at the end of the pier. Why? Did the murderer left the body on the ground for a minute to play Angry Birds on his phone?
6) If sometime passed between the murder and the process of dumping the body, there wouldn't be any blood in the first place. Bodies don't bleed forever. Then again, it might be a fresh murder.

I gotta say though, it doesn't seem like a place where you could go for a quick swim.

I've seen blood and I've seen wet planks before, it's not really a hard deduction to make!

Damn! You guys are making it too obvious that we are actually an assassin organization.

But seriously, I bled on a wooden pier once (which was also wet) and the bloodied part was distinguishable from the watery part. The blood was very fresh when I made that observation.
