IGN is worthless. At least Rupert Murdoch doesn't own them anymore.

That said I would like to join in on this. I own the first and quite a few maps. I've seen 2 and it does need patching. That's normal for Paradox labels at this point as Paradox forces awful deadlines. I'm willing to wait on those patches.

I'm in the UK so don't want to make it a hassle of trying to win the giveaway,

I do have a question though seeing as there isn't a Cities in Motion 2 thread, in Cities of Motion 2 is road traffic actually generated as individual cars for people going to their destinations or is it abstracted that blue collar workers living in zone Y travel to their job in zone Z at time T so traffic will be X.

Or to put it more clearly is the population visible as each individual citizen lives here, works there and you can see them driving from here to there or is it just abstracted?

According to SimCity it should be impossible, but the citizens do appear to have a permanent place of work and a permanent home.

Did you read that review? I agree about IGN, but I thought the review was very well-rounded. Critical were it needed to be. Generous were it should be. A very well-written review. That's what I thought, so I shared it.

And non US residents who are entering, I will buy the game on Amazon and send you the Steam key. We'll figure it all out if you win. So enter if you want. If you win, worst case scenario is you will receive a $19.99 gift card. Best case scenario is that I can get you the game.

Ahh the bastards! I'm doing my thesis which is basically a game of road planning and traffic management in a city and then these guys release this which is almost everything I have and much much much much much more! Maybe I get points for doing it in ASCII?

I've put a lot of hours into the first Cities in Motion, so I'd love to have #2. Count me in.

-Thanks!

I did not read the review. I read the Paradox forums which have users that really stress test things.
