iPhone screen turn disabled.

I'm not sure why, but all of a sudden my iPhone 4S won't change to a horizontal screen no matter how much I turn it. Before you say it, no, the screen orientation lock is most definitely off. Yes, I toggled it to try that. Yes, I looked through Settings, there's nothing relevant there.

The accelerometer could be damaged?

EDIT: Got a warranty on it?

I just got this phone replaced after the last one had....interesting issues . This one hasn't been through any trauma, I don't see how the accelerometer could be damaged.

There's a warranty, but I'm not going to invoke it twice in two months.

You might have disabled it in the settings on accident, happens to me a lot.
