Snorting to himself in ammusement Lethos walks over to the window.

" Thats simple, we're all going to be trapped in this system for a while which is going to require us to get along.
The mistakes of my people are not my own, I had no involvement in what was done to you and would not have supported it if I had so the first thing I wish to discuss is a public holiday on the citadel in honor of Mordin Solus, I understand that the first born child of the matron was named after him and so I would like for he or she to be present when the holiday is declared, as well as yourself, the matron and her mate of course to honor both mordin who died to cure you and the mordin who was born of that sacrifice, he bears the name of a Salarian and I will not see the sacrifice of a great man wasted.

I know your people would never fail to honor the man who very possibly saved you from extinction.

It would also go a long way towards strengthing your arguement for a position on the council to be seen publicly as members of the intergalactic community and not purely as warriors which brings me to my second point.
I would like to offer my support to your people in getting a spot on the council, for a price of course.

"Well. I can't say we Krogans don't like a good celebration. But something tells me you want a big audience. That'll need to wait for more solid communications. Good idea, not saying otherwise. Time and a place.

And I'd need to have a chat with C-Sec about what a Krogan celebration usually entails.

Krogans ARE Warriors. Thats not going to change. Its the way of my people. Now its no secret that the Krogans want a place on the Council. It'll take more than Salarian support though. So whatever price you have in mind? Halve it. Since you're about half the support we'd need. We can discuss that further."

" My price is a fair one, considering the number of species trapped in this system it is likely we will face problems in the next few months or years until the relays are restored so your strength on the council will be of great worth.
I have sway with the council as well as a favor or two owed to me, I can get you your seat.

My price is this, I would like some of your warriors available to support my own men in battle, the strength of clan Urdnot is well known and it would be my honor to have my own soldiers fight along side warriors such as your own and I am sure your warriors would enjoy the chance for battle once more, and I'm sure my own men will be able to aid yours on the more subtle side of things.

My only other condition is your support when the council is called, I will of course offer the same to you and working together we will have a great deal of power on the council.

Is that acceptable?

Raalg made a snorting noise. Of course the Salarian would ask his people to be something other than warriors, then see only their use in battle.

"It will be considered. I did want to ask you about the humans who are competing to be Councillor. Which do you think would be more...supportive of Krogan's gaining strength in the new galactic order?"

" I have only met with one currently and he is a weak man, he would not stand in your way should he become councilor, I am awaiting a visit from the second candidate now to discuss terms.
I will bring up your position with him, perhaps I can arrange his support to get you a place on the council should be take the humans place.
"

(( On an ooc note I think you didn't understand what I said earlier properly mate, I said it would let people see them as more then just wariors, I didn't ask for them to change.

I loved Krogans in the games, or at least I loved grunt anyway. ))

"Hrmph. Well, I'll consider your proposal. I'll let you get on with your other meetings."

Raalg stood up to go making a point to make some slightly threatening movements at the Salarian's bodyguards, just to get a reaction.

((Your implication was still that you only see us as providing equivalent value, in a military way. Thats how I took it IC.))

(( Well all I know you as is a master warrior so not much else I could ask for at the time. ))

The four bodyguards all laugh as one for a moment before closing the door behind Raalg as he leaves.

Otto patiently waited for the Colonies' candidate to return before heading in himself to speak with the Salarian Councillor.

Though the vote neared, he seemed to be in no particular hurry.

Still standing by the window Lethos speaks over his shoulder whilst his guards close the door behind Otto.
A short time later the doors open again to allow Otto to exit.

Contact the Asari and Turian council members and request a meeting in advance of the scheduled meeting once Otto has left.

Soon enough both the Turian and the Asari Councilor are awaiting you in a secluded Garden a short walk away from the Council Chambers. Several C-Sec Members are waiting out of earshot.

Joining the 2 councilors Lethos salutes respectfully before speaking.

I thought it would be a good idea for us to share our opinions on the humans in private, we can't afford to make a mistake on this. What do you think of our choices?[/]

THe two Councilors look at each other before the Asari Councilor starts speaking

Both Caniddates show potential.

The Turian Councilor merely nods in agreement.

" Which one would you favor? In the current situation I believe Otto is the better choice, the navy supports him and he is from earth where as the other candidates support comes from colonis that we have no access to at present. "
