Race: Mostly Human (Supernatural)
Archetype: Transhumaniac Mage
Background: Lynda was never satisfied. When she had a copper coin, she wanted silver; when she got silver, she demanded gold. As she grew, she gained a good idea in both how to attain coins and how to increase their value; by her second decade, she had attained a fair fortune and bought a decent castle. She continued to invest, and spent her earnings on a skeletal staff and a pretty good library of alchemal, golemic, and magical texts. Soon enough, she was ready to begin. She made some simple golems and an
aveculus, and had summoned some lesser spirits. She began replacing her limbs with these replacements and found some new servants who weren't so...picky about their master. By her thirtieth year, she was a strange thing, with a body of stone, a right arm of metal with a replaceable hand and lower arm, legs of bone, wood, and magical enhancement, a left arm of reanimated flesh, and a head hidden within of the body most of the time, sustained by an alchemal mixture. She has a large number of small creations, many blending such disparate arts as golemancy, necromancy, alchemy, and binding, as well as servants with various augments.
Bonus/Malus: +1 to ritualistic/long-term magic (e.g, enchanting, binding, alchemy, and other magicks which require at least an hour to complete); -1 to "fast" magic (e.g, spells which take less than a minute to cast, including 99% of combat magic)
Power Source: Various magicks
Weakness: Since Lynda is built from so many different kinds of magic, normal dispelling spells have little effect on her unless used in great number. However, due to this same cause,
any kind of spell not carefully crafted to avoid such causes disruption of her components relative to the power of the spell. A spell of sufficient power could kill her, even if it was simply a hasty and ill-thought healing spell.
