Mostly random asking here or on steam. You get a few people interested (or not), and someone hosts it.

Usually not, unless things are specifically set up to do that (they generally haven't been).

We've... just got like a dozen+ games in varying levels of completion laying around. I think of the ones I've played with b12 folk (maybe a couple dozen at this point), we've won two and lost three or four (five or six? Some ended... quickly.). When the stars align and we manage to get everyone together in the same combination again, unfinished games get started up again.

That... doesn't seem to happen very often, ha. Lot of games go for a few hours and then the folks playing them, like, never end up in the same configuration.

Of course, new folks can join in on old games fairly easy. Not as sure regarding substitution or whathaveyou.

Maybe? Probably got something happening, but I don't know when or how long it'll take. Will hop into the chat room when available.

Latest game featured 24 AI Spire Dreadnoughts. All Frumple's fault because he destroyed 4 MK5/4 Counter posts. Was painful.

Also featured Planes being useful against AI home planets. And, for three seconds, every single Mourner nebula starbase in one nebula, including the small ones, having a constructor. That means for three seconds we had 4 Mourner constructors from one nebula. Then three of them disappeared. Was a sad moment.

... I blew up three, thank you very much. Fiddle got the fourth one :P

Only would have been 18 without that! Or at least the last six would have came a few minutes later. Which wouldn't have saved the ~2.3k of my ships two of those counters blew up (Note: Only because half of them was over on your homeworld keeping it from exploding ;D), but still! It was pretty nice, really. Shook things up. Got me and fid tired of catfooting around, haha. Though I think exhaustion might have had something to do with that, too.

Though don't tap out entirely on the blame for that particular snafu, T. You're most of the reason the AIP was high enough to cause them to show up in the first place :P We were all in the self screwing, together.

Anyway, was fun. Looking forward to continuing it. We're only a few (dozen) champion suicides from victory! Assuming the ~700 AIP doesn't bite us in the hindquarters while we're doing that.

E: Incidentally, anyone know of a way to pull the chat log out of the game?

We're just about ready to take down the last homeworld. I doubt the AI can kill us in time before we murder it considering how it went with the last AI homeworld.

Also, we don't need to do champion suicides. We just need to methodically take out the defenses with appropriate ships, then bumrush EVERYTHING into the system for the ultimate final showdown of greatness.

REMINDER FOR US THREE: Remember, the fighters and planes are to be used against the Core Arachnid!

I certainly can't find it. I don't see an option in-game, nor do I see any files in the game directory.

Out of curiosity, how many people are interested in playing another game?
