This idea is probably terrible and going to blow up in my face in a thirsty !!dwarf!! in a wooden fort sort of way. But I thought of it while looking at maps and thought we might as well try it.

Late edit: Not everything made it into mapgen, drat. Perhaps the mapsize was too small.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Actually, it wasn't that bad of an idea. It's going fairly well.

Also, Jupiter is the space version of Constantinople.

Partly because neither the rebellions nor the dark spire actually appeared though. Also, we haven't started FS yet.

Sorry I couldn't join the last game, but I'd likely be up for the next if someone could nudge me :)

There was a lot of stuff in this post making it all a big slow mess. So I rewired it.

- The AI's individual ship targeting priorities have been improved in several ways, including making some of its heavier combatants more serious about taking out the main human threats on the battlefield and making its units less concerned about secondary targets (and thus more concerned about primary targets) in major fleet actions.
I guess that means less hiding behind drones now.

Anyway, Aklyon, when are we planning on continuing our game?

Well, I'm fine at any time after about half an hour, so if Frumple and Neonivek are ready to play I see no reason to not continue soon.

Low caps: Probably a good idea for later matches. Or less maximum scoutage.

Pffffft, I needed Ultra-heavy to beat that Ravenous Shadow? Yeah right. All that I needed was some gold old fashion believing in victory! And shielding stations with my champion ship of course.

You also had a cruiser hull's mass of modules. That nebula can spawn as a frigate one too.

Also!

Update: 6.029 hotfix for a bug from a few versions ago where auto-loading with the ships in a control group with the new "control group always group moves" toggle would cause unhandled errors.  Also fixed a bug (probably from the last version, not 100% sure) where threat could get stuck on a planet where the only human unit was a captured core warhead interceptor.

Not according to the wiki.

Champion size when encountered: Destroyer/Cruiser

But but but! MAXIMUM SCOUT COVERAGE!

All the scouting! All of it!

Spirecraft scouts are freaking awesome.

... though yeah, probably shouldn't have done that, though total information coverage is pretty great. Kinda' wish there was some sort of auto-patrol command for spirecraft scouts or... something. Don't think auto explore'd do it.
