Also, would it be fine if I was automatically proficient in the weapons for my disciplines, such as spiked chain, because it simply makes sense? There are a majority of exotic weapons in some classes.

I'm a neutral, so it wouldn't bother me. Also, I started adding gear, so if you guys have any complaints or tips let me know. Is 23 AC good for the level, or average?
