caged trained animal problem
« on: April 13, 2013, 03:21:28 pm »

I bought two cages, made them into a cage traps, captured 2 unicorns, trained them both to war unicorns, now I don't know how to get them out from cages so I can assign them. Did read wiki, but I must be stupid and/or blind as cant figure it out, tried lever to open them but it cannot be connected to bought cages it seems, so what to do?

In order to hook a lever up to a cage, you must build the creature-containing cage first.

You can also get creatures out of a cage by assigning them to a pasture.

You can also designate a pasture, assign them to that pasture, and then once they get there, unassign them.

Yeah, but then they'll be loitering in a meeting area, and if a unicorn feels crowded it starts killing things. Much safer to pasture them at the front gate to gore any passing kobolds. Or goblins. Or necromancers.

Did you mod the game or are unicorns now trainable by default?
