We could try to smoke them out and set some traps near the cave mouth to thin them out.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

"With a bit of subtlety, I think we could lure them out, then attack them there."
Maxwell glances at Aira briefly.
"And on the other hand, like she said, they might be easy enough to please that violence is entirely unnecessary."

"Did I say we would kill them? And wouldn't smoking them out impede diplomacy?"

R'cee decides to try something. He points his wand towards the water and transfers the water to the group. ((I think that's what you meant, did Urk mean us or did you mean Erk?))

I did mean Erk, water=transfer=ice. Though it seems I discovered a new word then? :P

Also, R'cee is a she lol

...

R'cee remained quiet, watching for scouting Goatlugs while the others formed a plan

Oh hells, I'm not negotiating with goatlugs. You know what they're like, right? It'll be nothing but drunken groping!

Ashar adjusts her hat, preparing to Speak: Hydrus Lebe Gutt Klug, then goes to the goatlug cave and wait outside.

((Going to make my wand a Wand of Lebe.))

"Heh, true enough. But I wouldn't call it negotiation. I'd say it's more exploitation.
We give 'em a bit of food, then well, with a bit of luck, we could very well steal everything of value in their little den. Or we could just kill them once we get their trust. Either way."

The problem with that is that you can't get the little bastards drunk, it's just a waste of good wine. If we leave them alone, they'll bother us eventually. If we try to talk, we won't get anywhere. It's not the ideal outcome, but driving them out is the only viable option we have.

Max pauses for a moment, before scowling slightly.
"Right... Not quite as clean as I'd like, but that is the most realistic way to go about this, I suppose."

"Do you have a death wish, idiot? BLINDLY charging into that cave? I'm down with fighting them, but what are you even thinking? Correction - are you even thinking? Do you have a PLAN? If you don't, then shut up, sit down and listen to those who have one! God damnit, your meathead is going to be the death of us all some day. And I'll not cover your ass for free if it comes to that.

Sigh.

...well, I'm not feeling like letting people run off to their karmic death today, so here goes a free sample of Ren's Bodyguard Service, your first and last!"

Restrain Heinz. Prevent him from running off and going down. And if he resists, he's earnin' himself some bruises.

Help restrain Heinz.

"Wait, are goatlugs even diurnal?

...What do we know about goatlugs?"

Try to remember everything I know about goatlugs. Encourage others to do the same.
