I'd say tell everyone to get on the ground, but our gas mask is horrible for being understood. We're the goddamn Pyro like this.

Fire one round at the wall behind them (aim wide, this is a shotgun), and point at the floor. First bastard to move the wrong way gets a mouth full of shot.
-1

Well, +1 to firing a round as a threat, -1 to killing anyone who moves "the wrong way". Just shoot people who are actually trying to kill us.
And keep the body count of even the aggressors to a minimum, people.

You raise the shotgun and fire it at the ceiling,  nothing happens you all stand there dumb struck for a second then with a bang the gun fires removing a smoke alarm .

Lowering the gun you point at the ground with your other hand, they all throw them selfs on to the floor and put there hand on there heads.

You can hear a great panic happening in the back.

What do you do?
Try to tie your attackers up?
Rob the place?
Try to set a fire?

Investigate the backroom. And rob anything not bolted down. And the bolts.

Before doing anything else, tie up the attackers and confiscate any weapons.

Then investigate the back room.

Have them tie each other up at gun point. Do the last one yourself if necessary.

If we do that, they may not tie eachother tightly. Tie them all up ourselves.

Whoa, whoa, how are we supposed to tie and threaten them at the same time?

Why? That's just being mean and lazy for no reason.

Okay, we have a SHOTGUN. We can't hold that and tie them at the same time. Yes, we have the gauntlet to fall back on, BUT, we don't know if these wads have guns.

Disarm, THEN tie? Duh?

And I think the risk of them attacking us when we have a gun within reach and are wearing a scary gauntlet is a bit lower than the risk of them tying crappy knots.

The shotgun is hard to hold as you tie the knots, but they all let you tie them up and search them.
your search uncovers :
a folding knife, a pair daggers with built in brass knuckles and a pair of aluminium nunchucks.
You quickly investigate the rooms in the back.
The first 3 are empty but in the fourth you find a young girl in a heap, she doesn't seam to have noticed you kicking the door open.
Walking closer you can see a belt tied round her arm.

You leave her and find the main back room.
It is smelly and dirty, in the centre is a desk, off too one corner there is a small safe, in the other there is a scared girl, she has a nasty bruise on her face.

"We have 5 minutes until the police arrive " says Susan.
what now?
you can search harder
try to take some one with you?
beat up the people out front ?

Interrogate the two girls, but not as we would a gang member. Fear is good for our rep, but be decent. Respect can be better.

edit: aluminum nunchaku? why cos there shiny and you can hit people with them.

You try to speck to the girl in the back room.
she looks about 20 but your a rubbish judge of age, she is wearing some dirty red nightwear.
You say "im not going to hurt you, please tell me what happens here"
she stares blankly at you and mumbles some thing about more golden brown.
It is easy to see that she is far too high to help.
She drool a little as you leave the room.

You try to speak to the other girl.
As you call too her, you can see a chain around here leg, she trys to speck to you in a basted pigeon mix of french, german and other languages.
She caches your eyes with a pleading glance.
With a mighty pull you rip the end of the chain from the wall.
She grasp hold of you and beg you take her with you.

You get a closer look at her, she is small with black hair with red streaks in it, her clothes are Stained and sorry looking.
She smiles when she see the men tied up down the hall way, she may of been good looking once but with broken front teeth a black eye and a spilt lip she is in a bad way.

"Grab her and run the police are a minute from the door at the most" Susan tell you.
front door of back?
what do you do with your new found ward?
