Onward, while looking in the bag! Once we figure out what is moving around in there then offer food to basin. I'm not entirely convinced he needs sustenance like we do, but if it makes him happy then why not.

Did we explore the place we were summoned in completely? if not continue exploring for more different power gems. fire and water might be useful.

Before we go back inside we should grow a new plant. The form of a pitcher plant and a a sap that works as a dark chartreuse dye. we are in a forest right? a bit of camouflage shouldn't hurt.

The G.M. basically announced that the dungeon crawl was over and that we should find some other way to amuse ourselves...

Though we probably should have attempted that "animate broken weapon, de-animate, use" idea on the crossbow that we saw...
Also, we just summoned a possibly-demonic creature, asked it for favours without checking pricing, ate what it gave us and allowed it to zap us with magic to perform an unspecified "improvement" on our form. Plus, told it that we didn't have to perform a ritual to gain power, and implied that we don't know what said power does, despite that apparently being impossible for normal magic-users in this setting, unless you're summoned in a specific ritual, the last instance of which being performed we know of is some kind of shifty cult who got wiped out by what would seem to be guards or religious soldiers of some kind. Also also, the demon-thing seems to like boasting, and implied that its fellows could observe our interaction.
Could we please be less retarded in the future?

I agree, getting stubby horns lends us CHARACTER!

that said, use our green power to execute plan "No Enemy Colours" - Pitcher plants which fill with dye. Then dye our robes and armour.

As for weapons: Put the leg of the Chair against a stone and have it wrap the stone with roots.

I'm not so much worried about stubby horns (I like tieflings much, much more than the next guy), just about "oh hey also you owe me eternal servitude and your arm is the greatest massage tool ever. Come do my feet."

Not sure we can make those, or spare the (naked) time for it, but it's worth considering.

This, I like.

I don't think we're indebted to him- we summoned him, and in taking the two cakes & 'healing' we expended the power we summoned him with and he returned. No deals or nothin. Hopefully.

I don't think they were wiped out by religious zealots/soldiers. I think they were wiped out by 'the magician'. Our boss. Who went ahead and waltzed up that road we left behind outside the cave.

Might as well call it 'Plot Road', and we trundled off into the wilderness.

I don't think we're indebted to him either, but I would rather not test it.

Um.
In that case, how are you explaining all the bodies wearing armour? Also, why do you think our "boss" (I assume you mean our summoner?) was not a member of the cult themselves? (or I suppose technically the soldiers could have been the ones defending our summoning place, with the black-robed guys attacking, but body placement and such leads me to believe the other way around)

I'll just drop this here, in case someone wants to reference it:

Several sentences about the "servant" summoned by the ritual have been underlined. They discuss the servant's preternatural ability to form something called "grafted prana" into coherent spells within minutes of absorbing it; apparently this is a notable ability and was believed to be an effect imposed by the ritual. However, given that the next paragraph is devoted to a description of the magician and her servant beating a dragon to death with another dragon, the veracity of this information is questionable.

;)

That made me think there were two historical figures, but looking at the original:
You cross the room to the table, setting the chair aright and settling down for a read. Absentmindedly you snap the candle on the table free from a puddle of hardened wax and pocket it, then flip the book open. You're slightly surprised to discover that you can read it, even if the language is rather archaic. It appears to be some sort of historical account, though it is so heavily laden with embellishments that it could be described more accurately as a legend. Skipping forward to the paper marker, you set the folded scrap aside for the moment.

A particular passage has been marked with a scribbled star; it seems to reference a magician who conducted some sort of sacred ritual to call forth aid from another plane, though you doubt that some of the things depicted are physically possible once, much less for three days and nights. After a moment, you unfold the paper. It carries a few notes written in a cramped hand.

Spoiler: Status (click to show/hide)

Maybe not- but having a more powerful 'magician' that went rogue tied up why everyone was dead and how the zombies/golem got there.

I figured the shot cultist raised them before bleeding out, and the golem killed the guy that shot him and his buddy.

Oh, also, I suggest using 3 Power on the wand.

Oh, also, I suggest using 3 Power on the wand.

with what goal?

actions in a vaccuum (that means if nothing happens that requires our attention continue doing.)
1: start growing a dye plant for colour to potentially camouflage out armour and not appear as one of a faction as of yet unknown to us.
2: go inside and see if the water plant has bore fruit. maybe we get some gourds out of it?
3: ... yay waffer! it is delicious! better to carry it in our stomach than in a dirty bag. also: satiated!
4: check status of our arm.
5: climb on top of the building and get an overview of our surrounding area.
6: were there bed rolls in the building or were the inhabitants sleeping on straw?
rolls - take one, straw, get some for the next point.
7: collect branches, make a fire with the flint and steel and cook the carnizelle meat. if we have green power left consider using it to search for healing herbs by focusing on the power and thinking about health vitality and good taste. spice the meat with that.
7: harvest dye plant if sufficient time has passed.
8: dye armour and robes.
9: judge time - if it is nearing night sleep inside. in a corner. preferably behind rubble.
10: prepare for the journey.
