We already got our power back, from both. I blame sir dice,(concerning the amulet), and in the meantime I think we've got it under control.
I think it wouldn't have an effect on our powers, just the possibility that the constructs are friendly to the cultists, and therefore might leave us alone if we presented the amulet.
But again, I think we've got it under control.

Btw, thank the gods we have good eyes and an observant mind. Noticing the 33% destroyed pattern might be a life-saver.

((Honestly, there was already a lot going on in that turn, and absolutely nobody else picked up on the amulet idea. I generally try to build a cohesive action from what people are talking and agreeing about. Someone else put forth a different course of action which gained support and generated discussion from most of the people in the thread, and so I put together an action from that. That's generally how these things work. :|

Unless you weren't talking to me, Immaterial, in which case I blame sleep deprivation-not so little that I've got a coherent thought process, not so much that I've started running on autopilot.))

I was just making a general comment, with a sliver of criticism. We've had it for a while, I wanted to see what it did, and it seemed that everyone had completely forgotten about it. You hinted that there was an easy way out, and a head-on confrontation did not sound like that.  I tried to ignite discussion about the idea.  It did not work, and now I've made of fuss over almost nothing.

I will now return to lurking.

Launch green power at enemy golem. Launch sulfur power at enemy golem, aiming at a separate part to not burn up the plants.

Lets push harder with the animate power, see if we can overwhelm it's reactiveness, also lets amuletatize it, or try to at least.

It seemed pretty decisive last time we tried to animate the vines, wait until the golem is dead, or try to command it with the amulet...

I vote we just kite the golem with green energy.

I'd prefer saving up for 2 energy, so fire every other turn, but dunno if it would make much of a difference.

ok, so use amulet in an attempt to take control of golem. avoid getting into meele with golem
if the golem switches targets to basin or gets into attack range of us then animate the ground under the golem

-1 to animating ground this turn- don't get in combat range. Pelt it with our pocket full of rocks to keep it's attention.

The amulet is likely just a trinket- found on the body of a black-robe. Might be a symbol for the cult, but that's likely it- we already examined it when we first found it.

please note the word IF in what i said. things dont always go the way you want. IF things go wrong, THEN animate ground. if not, dont.

as for why bother with the trinket? because there's nothing else to do this turn. i also expect nothing to happen, but we might as well rule out the option. pelting it with rocks or pretending we're an exorcist, either one should work to retain its attention, so lets go with the one that lets us get some information.
