You gather a handful of rock chips and pebbles from the floor, stuffing them into your pockets. A moment later, you have a brilliant idea and slap the altar with an open hand. After reflecting on that decision for a few seconds, you conclude that the issue was not a lack of percussive maintenance. You realize that you've forgotten to play the role properly and look up, expecting something to suddenly snatch you up. It turns out that there aren't any monstrosities, though, just more stone.

You walk out of the room and into a barren hallway, poorly lit with a single guttering torch. You creep along for a few minutes, the crumbling rock scratching your bare feet, before reaching a fork. A second corridor branches off to the left, and you can see that the one you are currently in hits a T-intersection a little further along.

The proper thing to do in any situation indoors when lost is keep your hand on the wall at all times. Take the turn.

Take the torch and follow the left-hand wall.

You twist the torch free, releasing a cloud of rust from the sconce. Taking the left turn, you enter another T-intersection. The path to the right is blocked off by a collapse, so you follow the left side, taking a right turn into a square room with a curved alcove on the other side. Part of the far wall has collapsed. There are a few scraps of broken furniture scattered around the rubble, and an arm protrudes from beneath the shattered, fallen wall, surrounded by a dried pool of blood. Something near the arm glints in the faint light of your torch.

Trying to collect yourself, you search your mind for memories of your life, but nothing seems to come to you. Everything before awakening is overlaid by the sensation of being squeezed through an impossibly tight tube, though strangely it doesn't seem painful, just bizarre. Maybe if you encountered something that reminded you of your past?

PRobably a sword. Take it and attempt to unbury the arm.

Take the arm and the sword.

We might be able to animate it later.

You gleefully snatch up the gleaming sword, only to discover that it is in fact a candlestick. Still, the thought gives you an idea. You pull some of the debris off of the arm, revealing that is attached to another black-robed body. The bones probably aren't intact, though, not at that angle. With a bit of creativity, a sharp rock, and several minutes you manage to sever the arm near the shoulder. You carefully stick it into one of your pockets; it isn't as if your robes could look any worse, after all. You're a bit thirsty, you realize. How long were you asleep down here, anyways?

You can hardly tell one group's severed arms from another.

I would suggest making a sack out of those robes we found on the guy missing an arm, but that would cause more questions than jsut the arm.

Yes. I say yes. Very much yes.
Attempt to animate the arm, then the corpse. Also loot the corpse's pockets.
A bag would be nice, too.

You shift some more of the rubble, but only the head and shoulders of the corpse are accessible; most of it is beneath a large, relatively solid slab of rock. You find a small pendant around his neck, a doubled arrowhead around the size of your thumb, half brass and half iron, with a hexagonal hole bored through the center. It feels and looks crudely made.

What do?
