I have almost no pride in my home country, America, and no shame either. Say what you will about that.

In fact, I feel more attached to the countries of my ancestors (Ukraine, Germany, and to a lesser extent Romania and Croatia) maybe even Europe as a whole. I try to immerse my self in those cultures as much as I can from southeastern Pennsylvania.... Somebody fucking take me to Europe damnit.  :P

Unfortunately it also suffers from a strange phenomena that prevents it from being remembered by anyone. What's that country called again?
Well, I see your countries educational inferiorities are obvious. New Zealand, of course.
Where's that?

Whatever you say about the US in it's current form, you can't say our founding fathers were pretty badass.

Quote from: Thomas Jefferson
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

And don't get me started about Ben Franklin.

Unfortunately it also suffers from a strange phenomena that prevents it from being remembered by anyone. What's that country called again?

I... I think it might be in.... the Antarctic?

I like Thomas Jefferson a lot.  Some of the stuff he said seems prophetic in view of the current crisis.

Note: For all future references, for comedic purposes, Thomas Jefferson is to be referred to as "Tommy J-Dog".

No doubt Tommy J-Dog and the Fathers had their shit together for the most part, but at least half the country misinterprets them.

My country is inferior and i hate it.
what country would that be? (this thread was made to brag about your country not dis it! D:)
Why it's the Bulwark of Christianity, the Messiah of Nations, the Granary of Europe. King Hamlet was said to have smitten her sledded warriors on ice(to which I call bull, by the way).
The legend says Lech founded it where he spotted a white eagle guarding its nest, outlined by the setting sun.
It's the home of kiełbasa and pączki, land of bigos and pierogi.
As the bard said, Lithuania, my fatherland... wait, that's not right. Forget what he said, he was a junkie anyway.
Once spanning from the Black Sea to the Baltic, now it is but a shadow of its former glory. Mistreated by History, battered and plundered by her greedy neighbours, like a phoenix she rose again from the ashes. Unlike any other nation ever, she has never done anything wrong, have not slighted a single soul!
Unless you count the qeustionable treatment of the Ruthenian cossacks, or the "might just as well" reposession of certain Czech cities by the way of Hitler's annexation. Or the bloody pacification of Haiti(but that was Napoleon's orders, n'est-ce pas?). I'm probably forgetting a couple more instances...

The only things that i could be proud as a citizen of Poland would be past victories over nations and its glory, but pretty much since the XIX century we were screwed and it only got worse. Now its a country full of various problems, shitty leadership, intolerance, paradoxes, mysterious disappearings, uneducated people (severly!) and catholic zealots. It might sound fun but it really, really isn't.

Probably thats why they are used with pentagrams on covers of Satanic Black Metal albums.

I don't know, the twin paradox was quite amusing while it lasted.

But pierogis and kielbasa! Every time I go into Philly, I have to stop in some Polish deli or something.  ;D

Padding makes it worse, because people think they can full on charge people recklessly, leading to more injuries. Kinda like boxing.

Proving American sports-inventors are teh stoopidz.
In the UK most schools banned Rugby because it wasn't uncommon for kids who weren't armoured with fat and muscle to have their bones sheared in two by collisions.

The more you know.

Are you sure you're not confusing rugby with British Bulldog?

WHO WANTS TO PLAY BRIII-TISH BULL-DOG.
NO GIRLS ALLOWED.
