I've been there actually, barely noticed the difference at all between weather there and here. perhaps a bit colder.

Weather? Don't talk to me about weather. Ohio is famous in the states for it's temperamental climate, goddamn lake and all screwing with everything. It's spring right now and i had to thaw my car out before going to work this morning, and last winter i was able to walk around town in shorts and a t-shirt. until it starts raining that is, and it ALWAYS rains here, especially if you plan on going somewhere nice for the day. Unless of course you want it to rain to help water your plants, then we have a month-long dry spell.

at least in the other states the weather seems to stay fairly consistent with the seasons and you can reasonably trust the weatherman. My weatherman might as well be a chicken for all i care what he says, usually it's more accurate to just look at the sky and guess, but you'll most likely still be wrong.

ALL. YEAR. ROUND.

Screw nature.

Wait, wait, waitwaitwait.

Ohio
Pff. Come up to Michigan and then tell me you have odd weather. We have three lakes messing with us!

In other news Oregon has had sunny weather, and is nice and warm most of the day.

Weather is trolling in İstanbul. You'll decide to wear your leather jacket in the morning, when it's noon you decide it's just too fucking hot to wear a jacket so you leave it at your friend's house, then when it's late afternoon you'll just be running to your friend's house to get back your warm jacket. It will start to rain even though there wasn't any clouds in them morning if you're really unlucky. True story.

The hottest temperatures I've ever felt were near Antalya. Something like between 45 and 50 degrees centigrade. I really enjoyed travelling around that area and seeing the Taurus mountains. Turkey is a beautiful country.

Right now it's dark but it's been quite sunny lately in Scotland. Today was a beautiful day. The swans on the lochans were having a whale of a time.

But anyways first of all Michigan is like Wisconsin, at least your cold is consistent, here in Ohio we went from 40 to 60 back to 40, and today it started near freezing and went up to 61 F, so yeah weather in Ohio sucks

Your mobile youtubes fail for me!
For anybody else having that problem just delete the "m." off the front of the video link and it should work fine.

Yeah, southern and western shores can get really hot. Thankfully you can swim. I even swim at night in the sea to cool a bit sometimes. İstanbul isn't really that hot but moisture makes it feel like you are about to burst into flames. When the western shores are burning in the Summer, the eastern provinces like Kars is usually just above 0 C. It's easy to screw things up and get ill when you're traveling.

Weather is getting better here, if you don't mind the temperature rising and falling 10-15 C through the day. But it's kind of a common thing around here anyway.

BTW, I really want to visit Scotland and Denmark one day. I love northern countries. They feel more... natural.

Hehe, In NYC we never see shit. Stop complaining man. I'm part of the vast majority that literally never sees a single one. The only thing we have in common with Texas is around election time, people ignore us.

I recently read this http://www.firstpost.com/politics/why-india-has-so-many-parties-and-what-to-do-about-them-740845.html
Conclusion -
Quote
What we need is either proportional representation, with minor parties polling below a certain percentage of votes not getting any seats (as in Germany). Or we should have a system of eliminating contestants from the previous rounds so that the final vote is only between two people or two parties who get 50 percent of the vote (as in the French presidential election). More parties isn’t the problem.
I also quick read various voting mechanisms and found the two round system quite interesting
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two-round_system
But then the problem is, with such a large population having two rounds of voting is going to be a hectic job.

I don't see why, if you can have your whole population voting once, you can surely make them vote a second time.

True, but I'm sure it must be hard to handle at least by an administrative point of view (1.2 billion people)
If it's easy, then I think having this form of voting might really help us. I don't know might about voting the different voting systems though...
