because we Europeans have real men who dont play puffy games covered in padding.

we prefer games that are just as brutal, yet we have little to no padding (aka Rugby).
Padding makes it worse, because people think they can full on charge people recklessly, leading to more injuries. Kinda like boxing.

In the UK most schools banned Rugby because it wasn't uncommon for kids who weren't armoured with fat and muscle to have their bones sheared in two by collisions.
