I can tell that there are more than a few Dom 3 fans around here, so I was wondering If anyone would find the idea of setting up a tournament appealing.

What I'd like to do is set up the framework for a decent sized competition:
-Who play who?
-How does one advance?
-What Era will the matches be in?
-Etc...

I'm proposing we do four 4 player matches, with the last person standing in each going into the final match.
Now, map size, era, and other variable will be voted upon.


Is anyone interested? And do we have any volunteers?

I'm not all that competetive and there tend to be some clearly "stronger" nations in certain areas, so while curious, I doubt I'll take part. For now, I just look forward to whenever one of us starts the next round.

also I doubt we have 4x4=16 Dom-Players here.

Could always just have players settle on one map, pick a location and every few rounds, you may send 1 Commander into the choosen victory province. Any player may only use commanders. Whoever holds the location the longest, obviously wins. Its like a SC-making-contest.

I'd rather keep it a straight up game of Dom3. Maybe I should just start a normal game....

   I think people are johnsing for a round 12 game. As for the idea of tournament the biggest problem is the time scale because even a 4 person game takes a while. As for the next round it seems the people in my round(11) are talking about a LA game though if I start the next one I open it up as one of the things to chose though I would leave EA out unless a lot of people request it because its what I am in.

It is on desura I think. Didn't know of it ever being on GoG.

I'd like to participate. My nation of choice is Bogarus, which is late age only. I'd also like to suggest the CBM mod. 1-1 games would possibly not be a great idea, I'd rather it was one large game with AI filling in the unfilled nations.

   Since there has been interest in atleast starting the next round I started it. You can find the thread for round 12 here. The tournament idea is neat and I think it might have a chance but enough people probably want a regular round so yeah.
