Try to follow them, slowly and carefully.
They could still be there, the turn hasn't been rolled yet Immaterial :P

Well, do the first thing with the loudspeakers, and if they left, then do the second thing.

You reach up, and flick the suits broadcasting gear on as you begin to speak,

"We can do this the easy way, or the hard way. In the easy way, you come out and we don't shoot ..."

You are however quickly cut off by one of them yelling some gibberish you think is their 'language', and the greeting of several more bullets finding their way into the elevator with you. Shaking your head slightly you pull the hammer back on the Kiltra, and tap Granite on the shoulder. Nodding in the direction of the hallway Granite quickly gets the message as he thumbs off the safety on his Model 93, the deckhand follows suit and you find your small party ready.

Giving them the go ahead Granite, and the deckhand pop out of cover first, leveling their shotguns and unloading two successive shots down the hallway. Granite's shot finds its mark and a scav falls to the ground dead, its right side seemingly disintegrated from the shot. With that done you step out as well and quickly aim your Kiltra, pulling the trigger you watch as another of the scavs falls to the ground, his head destroyed by the powerful devastator round. The remaining scav bursts from cover and begins to run down the hallway dropping his rifle as he goes, just before he turns the corner however the deckhand manages to put a shell in his back and you watch him slump to the floor. You clap the man on the back as you talk,

"Nice shot, now gather their weapons, and then you and Granite search the Armory. Take anything that looks useful but make sure to get only things you can conceal well, we can blame the losses on the scavs but if we get caught with stuff from this ship we might as well shoot ourselves. I'll check the med bay while you two do that."

With that you wait for their acknowledgement, when you finally get it you turn and press the pad to the medbay's blast doors, with a slight hiss the door slides open and you step inside. What you find inside is a mostly ransacked room, giving it a thorough search you come up with a list of things you can salvage, and simply have to decide what to take.

You gather up everything you can salvage from the medbay, storing it in the small pack built into the suit before heading back out into the hallway where you find Granite and the deckhand waiting on you. They managed to find a reasonable amount of stuff, Granite himself has two salvaged rifles, and three salvaged pistols while the deckhand managed to find two frag grenades and a gun retooling workshop kit. With that done you head on into the bridge of the ship, inside you are met by six scavs leveling their assorted guns and weapons at your heads while a seventh is busy working furiously at the captain's terminal.

As you look around startled, and Granite begins to raise his gun one of the scavs steps forward and speaks up,

"Stop we mean you no harm, let us end this peacefully."

You wave Granite down, and he relaxes letting his shotgun point back at the floor as you think of what to say and what to ask.

"Okay. You can take the shuttles and go. This never happened."
If they try to threaten us:"We have ten more men aboard."

slowly raise one of the grenade, and pull the pin out of it, tell them to do as we say.
we are the only ones in spacesuits , so a hole in the hull will be a good threat.

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Lets only do this if they don't cooperate. We should let them get a word in first.

"Alright then, you can take your shuttles and leave then, but don't try anything or we'll make sure you regret it. Lilian reconnect the scav shuttles, and let them leave, if they try anything funny you have permission to destroy the shuttles and anyone on board."

You say, turning your comms on for the last bit to give Lilian her commands, and as you finish you grip your Kiltra in hand and half raise it before you realize the scavs are turning to leave even the one who had been messing with the terminal a few moments ago. As they reach the elevator the one who spoke to you turns and talks over his shoulder,

"You let us live so I do kindness in return. Flee, marauder war host come. All it leave is death."

With that it walked into the elevator and the loud hiss of air signals the doors sealing shut behind him, leaving you to ponder what the scav had told you. A Marauder War Host was a frightening thing, a massive fleet of ships home to thousands, even millions of the ferocious and warmongering Marauders who lived to do nothing but raid, pillage, and destroy everything that opposed them. Your thoughts are cut off as the deckhand, who moved over to examine the terminal while you were lost in though, begins talking,

"It seems they copied all the local nav charts, and such onto a data slate, I guess they were using this ship to help plan their flight from the ... Marauder War Host thats coming this way. If they're right we need to warn the station, I have no problems stealing from them, but leaving them all to die to Marauders is just wrong.

Of course its your call Captain, do what you think is right but I'll get a copy of the nav charts from this terminal for us as well, its always good to know your options."

With that the deckhand falls silent, and you see Granite checking the hallway with his gun slightly raised, looking at the time in your hud you see a blip pop up on your display coming from below. Its the confirmation that the engines are repaired and Cyphus is on his way up What do you do?

Our ship's engines are being fixed up, right?

Fly the ship back to the station, and find a place to store the loot.

Nope, the station doesn't have the facilities to fix them so all they are doing is repairing hull damage, fixing internal damage to hallways, and such.

Depends really but with the railgun you have a fair amount of firepower, so as long as it wasn't a full size fleet engagement you could survive long enough to do a jump if need be.

It would probably be suicide to try and stay to fight, so lets warn them, and try to evacuate as many people as possible.
