I was going to subjugate all of them at first when I wrote that, but I figured that I wouldn't because they seemed important. Then I decided just to eat half of them, and leave one as a warning.

But, that seems like a good idea. Might switch my turn a teeny bit.

Since the village is based in three main cavern spaces, I think that they should be divided up into purpose:
1. The main, communal area. Based around a central fire pit. Contains the elder's hut, along with the huts of other important figures. Judging from the descriptions you've given us, it's lightly defended by hunters and alarm traps.
2. The sleeping area. Contains the huts of everyone who isn't important to have one in the communal area.
3. The industrial/processing area. Contains the workspaces of the cooks, the butchers, the tool makers, the clothiers, etc.

Also, how much do heros know about the deities? Do we know their number, names, affiliation, power, etc?
