Pff-naaah, this now lacks the law of meta due to the allegiances forced on whichever side you play on.

I didn't say its not Diplomacy, but I poked at the intentions regarding diplomacy though. :P

But yeah, if one of your allies are dead, that leaves the other two (presuming Web's case) with less concern for your life, or the player whose allies dwindle.

I mean, this could be a fast game.

A player wins when both their enemies are dead and they are still alive.
Best case scenario - 3 people win. Worst case: 2-1 people win, with the latter number being quite...impossible. Which I'd argue that this is against the core principle of mafia (information to the masses/ to the minority), this goes into the category of "Information depends on how you dole it out."

Hence why I In'd in the first place. It's experimental, I guess...Never seen one like it before.

Max two people win. You have to kill at least two people to win, and since one can be shared, three people must die for a two person win.

And you've got it wrong. If you lose an ally, you're better off in a sense. If you have an enemy dead, you effectively gain a different enemy in your ally that wanted that enemy dead, since you can no longer win with them.

That's the funny part. If you want to win with someone, you have to kill your shared enemy LAST. Otherwise, you can't win unless you kill the enemy at the same time, which just isn't possible.

Well, in I guess. Just one thing, though. Since blue is already accepted as the FoS colour, shouldn't protect be something else, like green?

That's a good suggestion. Green is now for Protecting. I've updated the OP to reflect this.

You know what...it really couldn't hurt.

In. I don't expect this game will be too bad, with just five players.

OK, well that's five players. I'll think I'll send out role PMs and start some time in the next eight hours.

In the beginning there was only the void. Out of nothingness came the five elements, each vying for dominance over the world that was to be created. They send out their tendrils of power, warping a maelstrom of chaos into forms to do their bidding, and fighting a shadow war amongst themselves.

Right now, the freshly wrought world hangs in the balance, covered in choppy seas, vast jungles, towering mountains, and burning deserts; with a heady atmosphere clinging to the uncertain planet.

Gankster78 I'd prefer if your first post actually stated something BUT good job breaking the ice. Thusly I shall not use my protect for now so that the "round" cannot end yet. Please sir, try another tactic than "First"ing.

That being said:

@Everyone: Who do you think is the highest priority target SIMPLY from their ability power?

Personally I think Water has the best ability for their allies [and thus the most bargaining power] since they can attack and protect the same person. Then set it so that they double protect.

I would think fire would be more dangerous, actually, for the same reasons, but instead of double-defend, it's double-attack. In a 5p game, that's a pretty big sway.

Nerjin: Why did you attack Gankster? For his "first" post?

Ford: How good of an idea would it be to claim now, do you think?

Gankster: How good of an idea would it be to false-claim now?

It's less of an actual attack and more of a "Prod" of sorts to my view point. That's an important distinction. I did it because it was a bad decision for the first post of the game. Simply stating "First" isn't a good plan to help hunt for your enemies or allies [if what I assume is happening is actually happening.]

Bad. Since we are all essentially mafia. Secrecy only plays to our advantage. Besides I have a way of turning everything said without definative proof into a wifom loop in my head.

@Nerjin
I think that attack is a protect. I think your water. And I think ur fishing for your enemies.

I think that attack is a protect because you specifically sad you arent using your protect

@everyone
Anyone else get the feeling that one of us has an amnesiac like power? I feel like we know to much to thibk we know everything about the elements.
