I used to use use my first name with the first three letters of my last but i realized that was terrible for security and decided i wanted Redwall my favorite book series. But that was always taken so i kept the first three letters of my last name at the end. I have a weird last name that's in whatever language they speak in Friesland so zyl just seems like a collection of random letters most people just say Redwallz though.

Mine's from Runescape, as I mentioned on the last thread. It's grown on me, though.

I remember Haspen came from Haspie which further came from some lolcat thing which said 'I has pie'.

I needed Haspie for one forum, then it went into Haspen, which is now my default username for pretty much everywhere v:

Pretty much my first online experinces was with Starcraft.
I sucked, sooooo bad. Anyway, I liked the Zerg. So I combined my for-realzies name with the name of the basic Zerg unit the Zergling.
So my username became Dev+ling. This also happened to be just my name with a G attached. And my last name starts with a G.
My 5 year old self was stupid.

I called myself New Guy, because I never expected myself to stick around here for long (I only wanted to ask some questions in the Modding Forum.) and become a regular. I was just running out of ideas, and I wanted a username that I could remember very easily, because signing up for a new account if I forgot my username while I have another question is just tedious.

That, and I'm not too fond of using numbers in my username, so I chose this username.

So said me from a long time ago.

NAV is short for Navarone. I have been using this name since I was two. It is what people call me in real life and almost nobody knows my given name.

I wish I had a cool nickname..

My friends at my old school used to call me C.Y.F. (pronounced Sif) buuuuut.. It wasn't exactly a term of endearment, but I still thought it was funny. :P

I'm preeeetty sure I said where my username came from before, but I couldn't find it.
Anyway, the name Jack Bread came from me trying to come up with a name for a D&D character. I was eating a sandwich at the time.
I discovered that the name "Jack" is awesome and putting "Bread" as a surname is even better.

I picked up this one as my very first username, and right now it's just about the only thing I use that still has this name. I originally picked it because my brother and I played a lot of Super Smash Bros Melee, and Roy was a fairly common character that we would both play.

For all my newer stuff I tend to use "OtherPlayers" as my nickname though. The reasoning was because I used to play DotA with my friends all the time and when you've loaded but not everybody has it displays the message "Waiting for other players." Since I had the oldest and slowest computer I simply decided to codify my username as "Other Players", which eventually was shortened due to character limits.

Sabretache was the name of a character from one of my favourite books and Sabre is the name of my German Shepard. That coupled with the fact that I like the word (a cavalry person's satchel) is why I chose this username.

a cavalry person's satchel

You sure about that part? Last I checked, a sabre is a cavalry sword, not a bag.

A sabre is a sword, a sabretache is a bag.
