The happy thread stickies itself. I'm all for animations, but not if they last longer than 10 minutes, so count me out.

Edit: Get into the 90s with DJ Max White. Whooo :)

Given the multinational base of participants we're dealing with here, you'd better express your time in a global-friendly time format rather than 'Friday Night.' A GMT +/- for example stating the time range.

It'll probably be outside of my timezone anyway.

We should have a thing in the OP with 'DJ Blah - <Genre and other things>.

DJ Max White - 90s and Electro
DJ Siquo - Varied Euro Metal and Pop
DJ Reudh - Experimental Electro and Weird Videos

Wait, I do electro?
I could always do an indie mix, but I doubt it would be enjoyed as much as my 90s stuff.

Actually if we were a little more organised, we could schedule people to do their own hour with a theme. That way people who like that sort of music could tune in without the sudden genera swings.
On the other hand some people like a mixed bag, so what ever works...

I usually try to make my next song match the previous' vibe, as a personal challenge, although I sometimes ignore the outliers.

Yea, I might start doing that, it sounds like a polite thing to do.
Although to be honest, all metal sort of sounds like 'angry'to me and it is some what popular, so accurately matching moods might be tricky.

I'll probably lapse into metal when numbers are low or it might go down well, just given it's what I have DJed in real life and tend to listen to loads of it as well. But I do have a bit of a range to pick from otherwise. Fitting moods/styles/self-imposed challenges seems like a good idea generally.

I'm not super good with timezones but luckily I was planning on posting in the thread and changing the thread title when it starts so I wouldn't worry too much, just keep an eye on the thread.

I'll pop in as soon as I get my opportunity to slip some Cthulhu into the mainstream metal channel.
