Remember if someone is posting something most of the room seems to dislike, you can force skip them by making the majority of their votes bad ones. It's basically what it's there for. :P

EDIT: About 5 people in the room now. Drop by if you like!

This thing is weird.  I was able to add two youtube items to a playlist, but it won't recognize any more beyond that.

Ok apparently it just doesn't like some links.

Gotta say.  The set-up seems kinda terrible.  It's horribly cumbersome to try and hunt down links for everything, especially when like 1/3 of them refuse to work when you plug them in.  I still think it would be fun to participate in something like this, but there's got to be a better way.  I'm going to have a look at turntable.fm.

Seems pretty dead to me, it's also a pita to add songs.  A lot of the stuff I don't like isn't on youtube.

I'm in the bay12 room on turntable.fm right now.  It took like 10 seconds to begin uploading a whole album, and it's about halfway done.

Eh?  I haven't had a single issue using youtube links.  You can even search for them through the site.

Should we revive the turntable thing as well? I've got lots of music on my hard drive that I'd rather use than search YouTube for.

We could also pick up some free software and set up our own actual online radio station.  There's a few options out there.

I dunno. Part of the fun of this is directly seeing how much people like your music.

Then again, having a 24/7 awesome music radio station... If you have the time to organize it, be my guest :P

I wonder how we would pick music on said station. Would we simply have an online site that we could log in to to pick music, or would someone host it?

We need to hold a Bay12: Sexy Voice competition first though.
