Learned of this while playing SS13, and it's pretty entertaining.
Motivated me to go digging around some of my old stuff I've been listening to since eons ago. Holy crap, been ages since I last listened to punk music of my time (From Bad Religion to Sublime), along with some ska (No Doubt, before Gwen Stefani went her own way, to Pietasters). Figured this is a good platform to share some of what I've been listening to back in the day.
Serious nostalgia.
Heard some awesome tunes submitted as well from you guys.
EDIT:
I know there are more bands than what I have played so far. Recalling bands and tunes from 15+ years ago is a strain, but very much worth it. Only other evidence to remember, before that part of my past comes to mind are the Fat Wreck Chords albums as a reference cheet sheet. Moreso is remembering the CDs and which ones had what, and then what were the *best ones on the tracks.
*Then there's the occasion that an entire album can be listened to front and back, and all of them are good, and are best listened to from front to back.
EDIT EDIT:
100+ songs on my playlist, and still growing.
As you'd figure, I'm gonna fill it with some of today's hits, early '00 stuff, and mostly 90's and punk rock/metal from my era. However, there are some surprises strewn about. For example: Who's a fan of Swing or Ska? I've got a rather broad spectrum of music, and a few more esoteric tunes in my playlist, while at it. And like stated before, that list is still growing. It's more a matter of what tunes and bands I can remember, and if they were any good. Then again, most of the music I also became a fan of, was thanks to my siblings, seeing as while I was growing up, I could never get away from hearing music; so yeah, I expect my list to become at least twice the size by the time I'm done combing through my memory banks.
Every session I log on, expect another up to dozen songs to be added in.
