[Someone claim this action]

As the sun rose, one of the forumites noticed something odd. The sky stayed red for hours after sunrise. Come to think of it, the sky had been red since they got here. Odd they hadn't noticed it before, but maybe, being in dwarf fortress, the sky just wasn't their first concern. Huh.

Xantalos arrives back at the developing fort, cougar over his shoulders and carrying a sack full of plant food. He walks robotically up to Zanzetkuken, deposits the various things at his feet, then, soaked in blood, falls on his face and mutters, "Cat."
Wherever Curio was, he suddenly heads for him.

OREOSOME, taking time in the morning to get some sunlight, so as to avoid cave adaptation, did just this.

"Rolepgeek, you don't need a special workshop to clean some fish!  All you need is a knife, and the relatively flat surface of a rock!  That's how my dad cleaned some fish when we were down at Montauk when I was younger!"

It was soon after that when Xantalos arrived, and collapsed in front of him.  Zanzetkuken swore under his breath, and shouted, "HEY!  I NEED A MEDIC FOR XANTALOS, HERE!"  Once finished he turned to Xantalos, "What did you do?  Get into a fight with a mountain lion?"

"Accidentally, yes. I'm fine, but I need to sleep since I've been dragging it here and it is f*cking heavy. I'll be fine, just ... just need to sleep."

That said, Xantalos falls asleep right there.

"Are you sure he's sleeping? "

Cheesecake gestures at Xantalos. Nothing happens.

"Dammit..."

This is an exceptionally crafted basalt rock block pillow. It is adorned with hanging cabochons of basalt. On the item is an image of Dwarves. Two dwarves are laughing. A dwarf is lying down. The artwork refers to the incapacitation of 'Xantalos' BloodiedCougar in 82.

"I got rock blocks... You could use them as pillows ..."

Corpse? Corpse! Yes... Well, it's your corpse, Xanty, so I'll need your permission. I am bound by honor to not steal corpses. Or, you know, we could just eat it. Dibs on the skin though."

In the back of the cave, near the most recent pick-marks, a +bizmuth bronze kettle+ pokes out of the wall.

Welp, just imagine I'm making zombies and researching Necromancy and other forms of magic for the next couple of weeks. That crater nearby my tower will have to wait, besides nothing good ever come out of a crater.
