O.K. you choose learn back story, as you dive deep into the factory you see massive machines that seem to have no moving parts, but are producing something, you find several laptops, but they seem much lighter and sleeker then they should be. If you get out alive I'll let you analyze them, finally you see a photo, where your friend red mask, and many other people, seem to be having substantial implants being inserted, all over there body, including his mask.

However you still don't know much, and he is catching up, though it seems odd, he is going at running speed even though he is casually walking.

You have two choices, fight or flight.

Flight. And grab one of those laptops before running.

Seem like a plan.

Lauren sighs and joins them in firing on the masked man.

The sounds stop, you have a feeling that a heavy weight that was trapping you was lifted. Do you wish to leave?

Lauren sighs and shoves Nathan lightly.
"Heh. Shut up. If anything terrible happens, it was gonna happen either way."

So as the elf collaborator runs back towards the car he pulls ahead, mysteriously, you dive into the now working car? As the rest of you follow you get back to the car, and find a note with a simple question: Do you think? By the way your friend is no where to be seen. So we're going to skip ahead to the next morning. In light of recent events what do you do?
