"...we're in one of those horror films, most definitely. A broken down car, shifting houses....all we need is a bunch of monsters."

Because the only command so far is examine I will give you details:

The house isn't completely stone, and while it would appear that something, maybe an explosion did a ton of damage to the outside, it would appear rotten timber did a most of the damage, this house must be from the 1700's.

Lauren glances over at Nathan.

"That's a happy thought. Those sort of movies tend to end with, what, about half the cast dead? And that's a generous survivor count, too."

Hey you know I assume after saying that you look back through the house, and you see a 1950's style town that was killed by the construction of the American Highway system. Well accept for the warehouse that looms over it. You can't tell when that is from, but it looks newer, and there is a soft light emitting from it?

I'm not saying the color because having a hard time finding, what color light the source I'm thinking of would produce.

"That...something." Phil talk to Lauren "In most horror movies...all horror movies, most of the death are because they did something stupid like split up after they seen the monster rip someone apart. We should use common sense and we most likely survive."

To the house careful.

Yo dog I heard you like blood, I'm not raising your stress because it is only a little, on a white tablecloth.

"We should use our clear genre savviness. We have to exploit this situation.

No, we aren't talking THAT exploitation."

Lauren shrugs.
"Fair enough, I suppose. 'course, that assumes that anything we bump into works like one of those movies."

"Possibly no-hang on a second.

Why didn't any of you get the car checked in the first place? Seriously..."

Nathan facepalmed.

You know that town is obviously there to advance the plot.

Lauren rolls her eyes.
"I figured one of you guys already did. Not much to be done for it at the moment."

((We advance the plot when we good and ready...or when you start throwing monsters at us to hurry us up))

"I did check the car, it was fine at the time. Stuff happen."

"Drop it, man. Nothing we can do about it right now, even if Phil was wrong."
