Name: Chron

Gender: Male

Appearance: He wears a dark blue hooded jacket and has a robotic right arm has a built in watch but is otherwise just a normal robotic arm that does nothing. He has blue eyes and tries to conceal his face under his hood as much as possible in an attempt to be mysterious. His pants are also blue and his jacket has the arm part cut off on his robotic arm because he wants to show it off.

Backstory: He used to be The Greatest (In his opinion) Time Wizard Fighter Type Person ever and could do anything with time, had a little white knife that could become anything, laser robot arm from the future, and an enchanted bow and arrow that are unbreakable and always "return" to him, often pointed side first and at great speeds (He probably shouldn't have trusted an evil witch to enchant it) . After his fourth greatest enemy, or second, he could never tell those two apart, captured him his powers were reduced so that he could do next to nothing with time, his knife is somewhat good at breaking force-fields and/or magical barriers, his arm is just an oversized watch that also functions as his right arm, and for some reason his bow and arrow are unchanged.

Appearance: A gaunt figure, cloaked in tattered black robes, his face barely visible beneath his hood.
Backstory: A weary traveler, trained in the art of Dreamweaving, a mystical technique that warps a targets dreams against him. During his travels, Ntzom heard of the story of Roll and Dodge, and decided to stop by and practice his techniques.

: "Oh, is that a Flutterbob? Aww! Hey, let me try something-g."

Attempt to serenade Flutterbob.

Go for the other Flutterbob. Whack him into submission!

Melody plays a peaceful, setting-appropriate serenade. [Int>Vit:7v3] The nearby Flutterbob tries to twirl its propeller head and fly, but it just can't summon the energy to do so. It lurches backward and falls into a peaceful sleep. Meanwhile, Lilianna dashes past Marina, ignoring her song and violently assaulting the still-awake Flutterbob with her icy staff. [Dex:4v4][Int+1:4] The creates rolls backward a couple of times in surprise. It looks quite alarmed by Lilianna's ferocity.



The offended Flutterbob ejects a bunch of prickly spines from its body, launching them in Lilianna's direction. [Dex:4v2][Str:3] The poor lass is knocked back by the creature's assault. [Vit:1] She also feels somewhat weakened.

: "Aha! Excellent, thank you."

Start going door to door and asking if they need help like some sort of traveling door-to-door mercenary.

Cherry enters the nearest house and finds a little girl standing around by herself. The furniture looks rather... sparse.

: "Mummy said she would be back by now. She said wait here until she came back. I waited here for a whoooooooooooooooooooole day!"

: "All the stuff that looks valuable is dead, and all the hot chicks have left. Hmm, I guess now is a good a time as any to go check out what this 'Contested Land' place is."

Forward (well actually westward) to the Contested land! Blast the nearest creature upon arriving so long as it doesn't look friendly.

Adarlan enters the border of the Contested Lands. He's greeted by some Nites. One addresses him in a low, rumbly, barely audible voice.

Name: Marina
Gender: Female
Appearance: 6'11'' Long lime colored hair and green eyes, dark skin and a sort of tastefully tattered bard dress thing.
Backstory: Marina hails from the elfin nation of Uberwald, in the village of Ramtop. She was a giant among midgets in her home and, though at first outcast, finally gained acceptance after she discovered she could reach the top shelf without a stepladder, a fact which was celebrated with a fervor.
A student of the arts of music magic, she passed with wild colors after an impromptu performance of "Dance water, Dance" with the human music group 'Dem Yiks', with a minor in arcane lore. She has come to this place searching for the fabled 'Shampoo of the Noted King', said to grant unbelievable power to the deciples of instrumental hair.
Also because it looked like fun and nobody would hire a seven foot bard. Whee!

Name: Lilianna Kythros
Gender: Female
Appearance: Cold weather clothing - overcoat, scarf, vest, thick shirt, shapeless patched pants thingies, gloves, pompom hat, and a few too many belts. Leading colors are washed out greens, yellows and browns. Bright azure hair. Long, fancy looking staff, too, with a blue glowy thingy. Quarter elven, or so she claims.
Backstory: Hailing from an obscure mountain country somewhere to the north, more specifically from its so-called Royal Academy of Geomancery, Lilianna is out here in the search for the World Tree which, she says, is absolutely vital for a few key aspects of her craft. Most of the time that seems to be a front to tour the world, get wasted and rack up huge unpaid tavern bills, though...
She absolutely cannot resist cracking cheesy jokes and groanworthy puns at the worst possible times, and rarely takes anything seriously... so she kind of slid into the whole saving the world business, but hey, taking down an evil sorceress? Piece of cake!

Name: Cherry Skullpop
Gender: Female
Appearance: Very pale-skinned girl with a high-set white ponytail. Prefers villainous-looking revealing studded leather clothes.
Backstory: Cherry is the seventh daughter of Queen Chalcedony, a sorceress-warrior-queen who attained the throne by saving the kingdom from various disasters better than all the other heroes she was competing with. This also left a convenient number of nearly equally powerful, fairly enraged contenders to help keep the kingdom "strong."

Unfortunately, Cherry wasn't even born when one of Chalcedony's old friends/rivals/bitter enemies made a play for the throne. The resulting catastrophe was truly glorious, with demonic invasions and weird curses and the moon acting all funny and everything, but poor Cherry was forced to hear about all this after the fact and largely as an explanation for why someone else was probably totally going to get the throne instead of her. Explanations that she could probably still get a hold of some land or a bandit camp or something and serve as a foil to her eldest sister the way all the various barons and other runnerups served as foils to her mother were not very comforting.

When another rival made a play, this time with Cherry available, she tried her hand at adventuring, but soon lost heart at the prize- specifically, Duke Lemonheart's ploy was basically just to destroy everything with lava, and Skulldust was still far in the lead as far as throne-gaining. Faced with trying and probably failing to melt everything or toadying up to her sister, Cherry took a third option and just took off, leaving the whole mess behind and hoping to make her fortune some other way.

Gender: Male
Appearance: With long straight silver hair and green eyes Alduin strikes a rather imposing figure with his black cloak with gilded edges and a plain red tunic and brown pants underneath. He appears about average in weight, but is actual thin, the inside of his cloak having been lined with thin metal plates for protection.
Backstory: A young man with dreams of becoming a bounty hunter, Alduin has spent his life learning gun-play and magic in such a way that some call him a Magic Gunner. With such high aspirations Alduin set out in search of glory as soon as he was able, he hunted a few criminals, killed a level three goblin here and there before finally stumbling upon the dungeon where Roll and Dodge have been trapped. Seeing an opportunity he joined the group of heroes going in to free them.

Backstory: Spark was born as a weirdo. He was wearing shades when he "popped" out of his mother's "uterus", which resulted in a weird frown from the father AND the mother.
Fast-forwarding to his adolescence, he became an apprentice slime-mage, with a knack for electrical magic.
Fast-forwarding another few years, he had become better than his master (which would still be quite bad, but still.). He had also started to study in slime-o-mancy.
