Hm. Well, then. *locates a 2-year supply of popcorn and wonders what the point of a waitlist is in such a low-mortality game*

((OOC: It'll be worth it. :P
Though I'd be waiting for player expansion, over character deaths. It can happen!

*shares popcorn*))

: "Whyyyyyy-y?"

: "Please don't tell me you're serious."

: "Well I know they kinda would dissolve me to the bone but we kept one in a pit back home. Granny Stormcandle used to feed it scraps and stuff. It was cute-e!"

: "I'm all for pets, but we don't have any pits to keep them in.

You find a taming potion or something though, and... well mostly I'll want something better than a slime, but you get the idea."

Now murder it with my knife.

Mourn cute slimes.

: "Whyyyyyy-y?"

Cherry dishes out death to the unaware, burgled Blue Slime. (Attack: 6 vs. 1, 4*2!) Her knife scores an automatic CRITICAL HIT, tearing the Blue Slime apart! She gains 3 EXP and 2 Gold for the kill.

Alduin takes care of the last of the slimes, rushing it with a powerful facepunch. Bodypunch. (Attack: 4 vs. 1, 4) Gosh these slimes are weak. A quick hit turns it to tiny pieces of gel, and the magic gunner reaps his rewards. He gains 3 EXP and 1 Gold.

Marina takes a moment of silence for the loss of the slimes.

Whack one of the slimes into submission, then loot the corpse and keep one of the frozen slime bits for science.
If all slimes are already killed, venture east to the Flutter Fields and scout the place.

Lilianna takes this time to scout to the east for the team. She arrives in the Flutter Fields. The ground is caked with a mixture of sand and rotted leaves. Two Flutterbobs can be seen practicing their flight abilities just ahead. Lilianna can see a larger mountain to the east, but the south path is obscured by a craggy hilltop. Most of the trees here have died off.

It's almost like it's a totally separate season in this area. Odd.

South to Everbrook Village. Begin talking to various people.

((Gonna get this one out of the way since I made the screen already. Dialogue and simple movement doesn't need a full update.))

Cherry heads south past some bushes and finds herself at the entrance to Everbrook Village. Houses are littered about with what appears to be a market to the west. A blonde haired lady stands nearby, watching a Chain-chomp play in the grass. The blonde lady greets Cherry.

: "Hey! Welcome to Everbrook. You look new around here... are you lost? Need directions someplace?"

Marina looks around wildly, seeing everyone suddenly go every which way.

: "Hey! Don't split up! That's not something we should be doing-g."

Frowning slightly, Marina trails after Lilianna, immediantly becoming distracted by the critters.

: "Oh, is that a Flutterbob? Aww! Hey, let me try something-g."

Attempt to serenade Flutterbob.

: "Not lost so much as adventuring. It's a lot like being lost, but you're enjoying yourself.

Anyway, just poking about for useful craftsmen, old men in need of dangerous errands, that sort of thing."

Request standard hero points of interest. If none found, check out market.

: "Aha! Excellent, thank you."

Start going door to door and asking if they need help like some sort of traveling door-to-door mercenary.

[May as well join up, although I don't expect to be jumping in anytime soon, so this functions as a non-empty post to watch I suppose. Character creation is always enjoyable to me though, watching an idea form from random ideas.]
