I love spring break, but that is not why I am here. This is what this game is, modern human sci-fi vs. 50's style greys. So you might being saying like X-com? No, first of all this is a large scale, no tactical battles, second of all a world government, yes I know that is more unrealistic than the aliens, but it will be more fun for all of us if we don't have to worry about that. I will apply several roles to see generally how well the fight goes. Modifiers to these roles like response time or how quickly troops are at the scene, interception, or how most of the UFOs are going down, troop quality, and knowledge of the aliens are modifiers you will get.

So yeah come up with a name for the new U.N. military, all world militaries are in your hands, current tech level todays. So yeah give me and the aliens a fight.

O.k. the GHSD was formed in response to a UFO coming down, crash landing actually through um... insert small city in the U.S. that you hate, personally I live in Cincinnati so I am going to choose Pittsburgh. Actually do whatever so it couldn't be covered up and one world government would be formed, old nations still retain autonomy to a degree, so fantasize on some the effects of that. But yeah so right now make the first turn.

Cut off anyone opposing the GHSD from aid, military protection and government. Then bomb them into submission.

By autonomy I meant things like marijuana is legal in the Netherlands but not the U.S. If you want something related to the war effort that they can provide they will give it, you already have everything they can offer. Like for anyone in the US we have the Feds, our crappy state government(I live in Ohio, I may be biased), and finally local, just treat it like another level.

Ok tomorrow we can settle on a name, but for now before I go to sleep let me tell you how I will do combat, both sides get 10 numbers that are 1-100 then I average them, add on modifiers and so on. Oh but you get an extra dice that does not count towards the number I average with, I will eventually remove it, but it is general things like fear and such
