Seeing as you're quite new to the boards, heads up: I like to RP, though seeing these conditions, I'd be probably alone in doing it. Ah well.
you wont be alone, although as you've seen from my posts in ER, my RP style isn't as long-winded. i focus more on sights and sounds, emotions and actions. you tend to tell a story, and explain why you're doing what. i tend to act and react, and allow my actions to describe who i am and why i do what i do.

"Oh good gods..."

Kira couldn't stand it. While it was to be assumed her origins and experiences were to harden her - apathy or other uncaring feelings, assumed - she still couldn't come to grips with the experience in front of her. Only a young boy, no matter how 'weak' he seemed to be.

This monster must fall, but first priorities fell to those amongst her. They shouldn't face the same fate...alone, at least.

She looked at the nearest person: a winged female looking much near her age, somewhat younger, perhaps? "What say we all break free of this squalor, hmm? Fight together, us all?"

Try to use the bindings as leverage - determine which is the weakest and focus on that part. Keep on watch for the guards if others are more successful - try to warn them if the guards get suspicious via nonchalant ambient calls.

"That said, I'll watch the guards...you know, if in case anyone of you would like to help us all out, that is."

((Yeah, but seeing the GM's reaction, my way isn't very much effective at all. Barely useless...Still, love how you do it :) ))

After nodding once when asked to team up:

"I see well in the dark, i'll keep watch. Can you see my hand? watch it, I'll use it to signal you when they're watching."

if others can't see my hand signals: "ok, i guess i'll just improvise a little. if i moan, they're watching us. i'll tell you when it's clear."

editing action post because i realized it's dark enough the others might not see silent signals.

The accent. Another tribe?

...Wait, obviously another tribe. Nobody among the savannahs would be bearing wings such as hers - even in the dim lighting only from the reflections of the moon was it obvious.

"Right. I'll help you there. If anyone else hears my voice, or anything else after this supposing we don't get freed, the guards are coming."

"Hey you two... I'm no good in a fight really, but if my plan to escape the cage works I'll try to you help you guys get out. Just promise me you won't eat me like those guys did to that kid, ok? Last thing I wanna be is a meal for some monsters like them... though that big one looked kinda tasty himself... just deserts right? Oh wait I'm rambling on about random stuff again..." Zerol says to the two who are whispering ((I think they are atleast)) among themselves. He may not be able to fight well, so he'll just help those who can.

"Word of advice, never admit weakness. lucky for you i'm not like them. but with someone else you'd have just painted a giant bullseye on yourself. having said that, we need to cooperate for us to have a chance here. nobody wants to be eaten amirite? go ahead and break us all out of this, anyone who wants to teamkill will have to go through me first."

"I never ate people..."

Kira put on an expression of disgust at the word "teamkill". "But...if there's to be fighting, leave it to me. I can take a hit for you -- loyalty above all, of course.

"And nobody's drinking anyone elses blood here."

((By the way, GwG, could you post your character stats so I can put your character in later?))

You all plan and work a system to get out. Erin constantly searches for any sign of the guards activity. Nectarius smells the fleshy substance. It seems familiar, but you aren't sure. You decide to taste it, then you realize that it's Yursect excrete. Yursects are a species of dog-sized scorpions, which secrete a fleshy, edible substance to make their nests and feed their young. You still remember it from when you went to collect Yursect venom for one of your potions. The excrete, you remember, was slightly tangy, but also edible.

Meanwhile, Hroki whistles for his bat, but the response came from another cell nearby. He sounds frightened. Then you hear clanging metal. The poor bat must be trying to bust out of a cage.

Zerol freezes the excrete, hardening its composition and making it more brittle. You struggle out, crushing the frozen flesh. You fall to the ground. As you rise up, you go to help the others. You see another Evolved, eating away at the flesh. You go to him, when he frees himself.
He explains to you about the excrete and how it's edible. You freeze the other cocoons, and eat it. You've created a frozen fleshscream.

When you all are freed, you silently walk to the gate. You see the two guards, they're arguing about something. Soon they start brawling. The larger guard overpowers the smaller one. The smaller one, however, is smarter. He uses his tail to lash at the guards unprotected shin. The bigger brute is racked with stinging pain. Quickly, the smaller one picks up a knife and stabs the guards face. He turns to hide the body, dragging it across the corridor. Soon, he will pass your cell. That might be your chance to get the key, or kill the guard...

Also, after things are all done and clear, you should all introduce each other. To help understand each other's character and help deepend your character's backgrounds.

((mostly just getting a default action in, in case i dont have a chance to post. i'll edit this later odds on to cooperate with the group.))

grab the smaller guard's tail or other limb if i dont have a good shot at the tail in particular when he passes near us and pull him as close to the cell as i can. keep pulling once he slams into the cell bars to keep him partly immobilized.

((You don't need to tell us to introduce each other... :/))

"So who wants to grapple with a guard today?" Kira asked after thanking her rescuer and ignoring the other bodies along the way, "And perhaps get that knife...and their weapons...And their armor...

"In the meantime, I'll keep watch for anyone checking up on us."

Keep watch and let someone else take care of business.

"Hey, one of you wanna try to grab that guard through the bars? I can freeze his head easily and kill him if one of you can hold him still enough... well unless one of you got an easier way to get his keys." Zerol tells him his plan. He then adds, "Ah but be careful of his tail. He might use that like he just did the the big guard."

If anyone goes with his plan, freeze the guards head as soon as they grab a hold of the guard. If they decide another plan, then help them out with that one. Also, freeze some more of the sticky stuff for some food later on.

Erin started speaking softly to the others, with a dead look in her eyes. you can only show kindness from strength, and right now this group of prisoners weren't in a position of strength. holding back would kill us all.
First, she pointed at Kira
"You look like one of the best fighters we've got, i'll grab him first if you handle the knife problem. whatever we do we can't let him get away. You" Erin points at Hroki "look plenty strong. latch on to him right after i do and make sure he can't escape. Mr. Freeze, you know what to do. we can't be nice about this people. if he sounds the alarm, we're dead. You" Erin now points at Nectarius "keep watch in case more come. finally, you Erin now rounds on Clair give the first people to move some breathing room, and cover for anyone who messes up."
Erin, blindly assuming the others will follow her lead, now gets into position for her upcoming grab attempt.

inside a group of confused, disorganized people, the person who appears to be in power, does have power. the illusion of strength and leadership, combined with the appearance of total confidence, can give someone power no matter what their true level of strength is.

"Very well. I will keep a look out. Just so you know, a triple poke means trouble, and you are meant to pass it along."

Hoo boy. This sounds like the makings of some sort of zany adventure. How thrilling.

Make sure to look around and smell the air for anything threatening. Should anything threatening look like it's coming this way, poke the nearest teammate three times and hide out of sight.

Clair listen to Erin and replied "Or I can shock him into unconscious."

Follow plan less Erin let me shock.

"Why don't you shock him into submission, then interrogate him the way out.

"Or use him as a bodyshield."

Kira nodded at Erin's plan - the markings of a leader shown in her, she supposed. No objections whatsoever.

Follow Erin's plan to the letter > Knife!
