Personally I would like to see some variant of what insanity's cooking up. Maybe run a tally from the first post as the poll will only let itself be used once...

Getting close! All the Terrifying Fun is down in the frozen tundra. I've unfrozen a bit so that the suspiciously new waterfall can flow.

Almost done figuring out the evil weather. It currently rains dwarf blood, which is booooring.

 :D Not bad- I haven't gotten evil rain without a yakkity sax interlude till the all dorfs dead screen. Undead ravens followed by "living" dingoes who promptly were not. Biome had re-animating tag on half- never figured out what the raining pus did.

Sent a first attempt at the embark to The Master. We'll see how he likes it!

The embark area is 4x4 with a large river waterfall, about 1/2 the map is evil reanimating tundra with evil clouds. Sand and clay for the soil layers. The non-evil area is mostly a large hill and almost aquifer free. The upper-right corner of the map and most of the lower area have an aquifer. It shouldn't be a problem to avoid.

My trial embark seemed to take an FPS hit initially as giant sponges and river otters got sucked over the waterfall, but improved after a while.

I wasn't able to find much in the way of good biomes, so it's split between Terrifying and Untamed Wilds. There were freshwater lakes and frozen oceans available, but I think the rivers make the water situation complicated enough without them.

Glad you liked the first embark attempt!

Obviously I'm not in charge of anything, but I could probably do one more round of world editing, if you decided to try adding more mods.

We definitely need that mod, if not for this fortres then for brand new one. I'd like to test those bunch of crazy nobles.
As for additional requirements, maybe modding+dfhack combo will work? Since they have steam engines and special workshops that work through dfhack entirely...

Sorry, but I don't think my computer can handle that... It took three tries just to load the game, and FPS was at a steady 10 with only the fisher doing something, and nothing anywhere near the waterfall... I better bow out now.
