Not sure if this is a true husk or not.  but i had a similar thing happen with abominable fog zombies in my current fort.  After 5+ years of science all zombies seem to keep their ai behavior before zombification. 

Zombified goblins will flee after enough of them have been killed.  Civillian fog zombie dwarfs run from hostiles, anddd they keep their current tasks after making contact with the fog until they are cancelled due to hostiles.

Caravans are the only zombie candidates that do not attempt to continue their current task until cancelled, presumably because when one trader is killed/turned into a rotting mess, they panik and cancel current tasks.

Draft the entire fort and set them after it, it's bound to get cornered eventually. There will be casualties but...

If the fortress doesn't have weapons it won't matter, they can't kill it.
