I like it.
Seems like it still sports a bit of a difficulty curve at the beginning, (kinda), but after we tooled around with our characters via cheat engine it's pretty enjoyable.
Lots of physicsy-stuff- explosive gas blocking your way? Who needs magic, just grab the nearest candle and chuck it in for fireworks!
Traps can be nefarious, with an obvious pressure plate in front & a crate blocking the easy path around- but move the crate and you open a poison vent! The tricksy-doodles are real.
You've got bonuses for different personality choices & co-op interactive convos are fun in their own way, gotta think about your character.
Stealing is super op- if you can get your partner to help you, distracting someone while you loot the crap out of the room is very viable.
Lockpicks are stupidly difficult to come by, better to have a fireball spell & burn things open than to invest in lockpicking. Another area where cheatengine helps.
Game features a lot of humor & secrets- to even pick up on some secret treasure & mechanisms you have to pass a perception check, looks like.
Character creation is fun & allows for a bit of variety.
The two players aren't tethered, but there's a gentle pressure to stick together so as to participate in group-convos.
I expect I'll be playing this for a while, specially since I have two co-op partners to run with.
