Vector - Charismage
Forsaking Mathemagic years ago, your natural talent with words manifested itself in your magical abilities. Of course, you’d only been able to recently explore your latent powers, but in that short time, you feel you’ve progressed a lot.
Of course, you met this group of losers at a party one day and you thought, ‘What a bunch of suckers.’
So, you got bored today, and you figured that piece of shit Urist Imiknorris can go die today. Sooo, yeah. Let’s have a bit of fun!
(Auto) Charm: This group is too entranced to even contemplate harming you. Any action that directly harms you or even anyone that looks like you fails.
(Day) Convince [target]: Anytime, during the Day, while you are voting someone, you or another player may type, “Don’t you agree, [target]?” The target must make a will save Screw that, you make that bitch listen and switch their vote to your current vote target. Once you or someone else have written this, make sure you notify me.
(1-Shot) No, That’s Not How It Happened: This is a free action and does not count toward the one action limit. You may choose any post from any other player in the game or the mod. That post is changed to anything you wish. The player cannot notify anyone nor make any mention of this to any other player. This cannot remove votes.
(Mafiakill) Deceive [target]: You compel the target to work with you to screw over everyone else. They join your team. You may use this only if you have no living teammates on your team.
Hapah - Alechemist
Unsatisfied with merely drinking alcohol, your magical pursuits led you down the dark road of Alechemy. Your father never quite approved, but your mother saw your talent and bought you your first Vick’s Quick-Fix Mix ‘N’ Match Cocktail Make ‘N’ Shaker.
That was a good day. Too bad you can’t remember it.
(Auto) Tolerance: Your drinks have a bit of a kick to them, implementing various conditions on their targets. Luckily, your years of drinking have built up a resistance to alcohol, even with your extra kick.
(Night) Mix A Drink [target]: This is a free action and does not count toward the one action limit. You make a drink for the target. You have a few recipes you may choose from, but you can only use each once:
Vodkan’t Remember: The target blacks out and is unable to remember the Night before. The target does not receive any messages during the Night.
Roleblocktail: The target spends most of their Night in the bathroom, throwing up. They are unable to do anything else.
Truth Se Rum: Pick anything said by the target during the following Day. You learn whether this is true or false.
Antiquila: You reverse certain magical spells affecting the target, causing protections to kill the target instead.
(1-Shot, Night) Molotov Twist: You throw the mixed drink in your target’s general direction. Everyone who targets your target or whom your target targets are affected by the drink. This action must be used with Mix A Drink. Unfortunately, you’re too drunk to know who it hit.
Zrk2 - Magimancer
You could never decide what you wanted to be when you grew up. Maybe a Pyromancer... Or a Warmage... Or maybe even an Omnimage! But... You couldn’t ever make up your mind.
Luckily, while reading a book, you came across Magimancy. Previously outlawed due to egregious security concerns, small parts of the school are currently being taught, especially those relating to Metamancy and Necromancy. You snagged this chance to learn it.
You’re still only a beginner, but that’s why you went to school to begin with.
(Auto/1-Shot) Mega Mage: Pick any currently living player in the game. Actions done to you by this player are negated. You may change this at any time. Once during the game, you may activate this skill, removing the auto ability. You gain any auto abilities of the player this ability is currently targeting.
(1-Shot) Necromagus: Name a role that is currently incapacitated and an action that role has. If you guess correctly, you may use the action once as a free action.
(1-Shot) Pensivity: Name a role that is currently alive and the player that has it. If you guess correctly, you learn everything about the player’s role and alignment.
Tiruin - Biomancer
You’re actually a pretty late bloomer compared to other mages. Your magic powers came to you well past high school. You had already set your mind onto becoming a biologist, even. So, when you got your magical powers, you thought, ‘What now?’
And then you realized you have MAGICAL POWERS. You can do whatever you want! Your newfound power led you to drop out of school and hang with a pretty rough group of mages. You managed to turn things around when you
(Auto) Second Bloom: Your knowledge of life and its limitations lets you recover from wounds faster. It takes twice as much to take you down.
(Night) Heal [target]: Your knowledge of the life comes in handy sometimes! If your target is attacked, you can make sure he stays safe by healing him up.
(1-Shot, Night) Rebirth [target]: You surge energy into the target, resetting a random 1-shot of theirs.
Toaster - Sciencorer
Science! You always appreciated the irony of being magically gifted and scientifically minded. Well, you never thought it was ironic. Just, funny. You always realized that magic and science are two sides of the same coin. Magic doesn’t come from nowhere. It’s everywhere. Whether we channel the energy around us or use our own, magic follows laws just like science does.
That’s why you’re here, after all. School. No one treats magic as a scientific field. They treat it like an art. And, sure, it can be artistic, but why can’t it also be scientific?
(1-Shot, Day) Autopsy [target]: You carefully study an incapacitated player. You find out the role and abilities of the player.
(Night) Study [target]: You pick a person to study, noting his actions. If you can, you learn what magic ability a person used last Night.
(1-Shot, Night) Magical Replication Field: Many actions used on you can be recreated. Unfortunately, powerful magicks are pretty tough to do, but anything that was a simple Night action should be fine.
Griffionday - Dreamstalker
When did all the sleeping start? When did you hate being awake?
When did dreams become better than real life?
You’ve stopped remembering things about yourself. What’s the point? That’s not the you that really matters. And this you that exists in your dreams is so volatile...
You lose track of your thoughts again. There’s no way not to while you sleep.
(Auto) Dreamwalker: Your dream self and real self act as separate beings. You may not notify anyone of any information you gain from actions that happen to you or you do, including this ability, until you use Awakening.
(Auto) Lucid Dreams: During the Night, you stalk others’ thoughts and dreams. You learn random bits of information from the previous Night.
(Auto) Life And Dreams: You have an odd attachment to the unconscious. You’re not sure whether it’s related to your dream powers or not, but you can talk to those that have been rendered incapacitated.
(1-Shot) Awakening: You wake up from your dream world. You lose your ability to dream. You lose Dreamwalker and Lucid Dreams.
Urist Imiknorris - Grand Wizard of the KKK
Honestly, you reeeeeeally don’t know how you got here. Well, you do, but, thinking back on it, you misconstrued a lot to get to this point. Like, almost everything. Sometimes, you just feel dumb.
But a week ago, orders came down. Your area needs a local chapter. Unfortunately, you have no magical abilities, nor magical resistances. But, why not start with these guys? Oh, because they’re mages. Duh.
Whelp, better fix this.
(Auto) Not Magical: You’ve a distinct lack of magic. This makes certain abilities fail against you.
(Auto) Not Cool: Yeah, people think you’re kind of a bad guy. Because you are! Protections fail to work on you.
(Night) Lynch [target]: Hey, look. These guys are okay, but these guys sympathize a bit too much with mudbloods, and that’s not really okay with your group. At least not since Voldemort became a member. But, you just knock out the guy, promise!
(Night) Stakeout [target/self]: You scout out a player of your choice. You see who targets them.
(Day) Burning Cross [target]: You leave a reminder to the target that maybe voting today is a bad idea, right? So, they don’t do that.
The Soldier - Ferromancer
I. Am. IRON MAN!
The children run away, screaming and laughing, as you lumber toward them garbed in your metal exosuit. One of the children falls. You catch her.
Activating tickle cannons in T minus 5. 4... The child smiles, trying to escape.
Tickle cannons engaged! The child laughs uncontrollably.
It’s been a long day. You’re not sure why you enjoy volunteering at the orphanage. You’re not particularly fond of children. Not helping people. Maybe...
Maybe you just like pretending.
(Auto) Ironhide: Your skin is coated in iron, protecting you from harm. It takes twice as much to harm you.
(Night) Shield [target]: You summon a shield around the target. They cannot be harmed this Night.
(1-Shot, Night) Reload [target]: You release stored up energies, forging the target a weapon to reset one of their 1-shots at random.
Deathsword - Anthramancer
You’d like to say coal is important to your family of pyromancers.
You’d like to tell your ex-girlfriend that coals are more important than tradition.
You’d like to speak about the benefits of coal versus fire.
But you can’t. They’re right. Coal, by itself, is pretty useless to a mage.
Bleh. You wish you’d chosen a different field of study.
(Night) Naughty Or Nice [target]: You verify with Santa whether the target is town or not.
(1-Shot) Artificial Diamond: Quickly summoning a piece of coal, you focus all of your will into compressing it into a diamond. You cannot action during this time. After one Cycle, you may give this diamond to another player, granting them special powers.
notquitethere - Love Mage
“Make love magic, not war magic.” That’s always been your motto, ever since you broke ties with your family, all of whom were accomplished warmages. It was tough starting off, due in part to the impracticalities of love magic. You experimented on couples, animals, children. You couldn’t figure out what created or held the bonds of love. You almost gave up when, suddenly, love found you.
A strapping young lad, Captain Ford--neither a captain nor a car--found you sulking after another failed experiment. This time, you had inadvertently broken up a couple, sending the guy into a spiraling depression. Your magic had brought nothing but pain. But, suddenly, you felt Captain Ford’s arm around your shoulder, and everything felt better.
And it always will, as long as he’s there. There’s only one more thing you might need...
(Auto) Attract: You automatically affect the emotions of players that meet you. Whenever a player uses an action on you or you use an action on a player, they cannot use any offensive actions on you for one Cycle afterward.
(Night) Lovestrike [target1] [target2]: You entice the target1 to fall in love with target2, but fail a bit to only make target1 action target2.
(1-Shot) Cupid [target1] [target2]: Match the two up with each other. The two targets will fall in love with each other, so that if one is killed, the other will become incapacitated one Phase later. But, they can write love letters to each other too! Cute!
Captain Ford - Joy Wizard
A genius. Brilliant. Exceptional. Exemplar.
You held the ball of fire in your hand. A perfect sphere. You changed the shape. Changed the element. Changed the color.
It was child’s play. It wasn’t worth your effort. You saw the way your guardian looked at your brother when you’d go to cheer him up. Your guardian would pull you away, sneering at Commander Dodge.
But, making him happy made you happy. Magic didn’t feel like a chore when you used it to play. His smiles...
So, when he died, you ran away. There was nothing holding you there.
It was fate that you even met notquitethere. You saw him sulking. You felt the same thing from your brother. And with a little magic, you made it better.
(Auto) Ignorance Is Bliss: notquitethere is under an ongoing spell. This is canceled when you are incapacitate or when you choose. notquitethere will be unable to vote. You cannot mention this to notquitethere.
(Night) Ensorcel [target]: You cast a spell on the target, filling them with bliss. They cannot make any offensive actions this turn.
(Night) Gift [target x (1-2)]: While your presence may indeed bring joy, most people enjoy your presents more. You give your targets a random action.
RangerCado - Shadowdancer
An alleyway, overflowing with darkness, sits, almost alone, among the university buildings. Nobody goes there. Nobody can. It’s protected by spells.
Except for you. It’s your playground. You can do whatever you like in the shadows.
But, you also like hanging out with these guys too.
(1-Shot, Night) Shady Dealings [target1] [target2]: Manipulate the comings and goings of players. Actions that target your targets are redirected to the other target.
(1-Shot/Auto) Shadowaltz: Any action that targets you is redirected to a random player. This action can still hit you. If an offensive action is redirected this way, you lose this ability.
(1-Shot, Day/Auto) Cloak Of Midnight [target/self]: At any time, you shield yourself or a player with darkness. That player cannot be lynched or killed for the rest of the Day. This ability can activate on its own if you are the target of an offensive action during the Day.
TheWetSheep - Automancer
Deep breath. You inhale, holding the air in, then releasing it slowly.
You open your eyes. Fighting. Again. You shake your head. They have no self-control. You continue with your breathing exercises. It’s kind of funny some time.
Or is it? Huh. Oh well, don’t worry about it. Just focus on your breathing...
(Auto) Self Awareness [target]: You are completely aware of your being. You cannot be forced to do anything, such as change your target or be forced to do an action. You also cannot be persuaded.
(Night) Self Esteem Boost [target/self]: The target gains a boost to their self esteem. They can vote twice during the next Day. If this action is not used on yourself, you may make an additional action or boost another non-self target.
(1-Shot, Night) Breathing Exercises: You enter a deep state, meditating. You become immune to the outside world and all actions.
TolyK - Mercurial Magician
You’re not sure how many days you’ve spent staring. Just... letting the mercury flow back and forth. It’s probably a side effect of, you know, the mercury, but you’ve gotten pretty used to it.
Back. And forth. Back. And forth.
You’re actually kinda happy that you don’t realize what a waste this is.
(Night) Temp Marking [target]: You stealthily mark the target with mercury, poisoning them. The target won’t be able to survive after the next Day. This mark fades if you are incapacitated.
(Day) Extension [target]: This is a free action and does not count toward the one action limit. This action may be used multiple times per Phase. If the target is marked with mercury, they will not die from poisoning.
(1-Shot) Quicksilver: If three living players are marked with mercury, you can massively multiply the mercury, killing everyone nearby. All other players are killed. This action does not go through protections, revives, or kill immunity.

You decide to hack the school’s servers and do a search for The Soldier’s name. You found e-mail match, belonging to... zombie urist? Yeah. That guy...? You’re pretty sure he was called Deathsword before though... Huh. Weird.
Toaster receives “(Night) Lovestrike [target1] [target2]: You entice the target1 to fall in love with target2, but fail a bit to only make target1 action target2.”:
Grabbing your clipboard, you carefully study notquitethere. After much study, you’ve concluded that he performed something called Lovestrike, and it appears to redirect from one target to another. Quite odd, for an ability called Lovestrike.
Griffionday receives “Zrk2 visits Vector, zombie urist visits The Soldier, Vector Nones”:
You wander the dream world again.
Again?
Always.
You see images... Zrk2 carefully looks around before he sneaks into Vector’s room. You see Vector, lying in her bed, as light seeps in from the doorway. You have joined the scumteam.
Griffionday Receives “notquitethere Lovestrikes”
As you wander among the dreamscape, you encounter the odd visions again. This time, you only see a small glimpse. You see notquitethere using an ability called Lovestrike. What a silly concept. You float casually on by.
