might as well add flavor

Checks stocks in solar power then examines clothing. Also asks everyone: "Hey, can anyone tell me why we haven't just killed Web yet? It could save us a lot of future grief."

I'm back! Don't have much time though, so I won't be able to address everything.

Toaster:
Hey TheWhiteSheep, who is scum and why?
That's it? No reasons or anything? You didn't even get my name right. Anyway, I posted my reads already. My top two picks would be Tiruin and ZU, but I'd be surprised if they were both.

Tiruin:
TWS
Alright, we have a bit over an hour left, and not many votes are out there. I'll throw my vote on Tiruin for now, but ZU is a fine choice too.
So what's with the finery in choic-
Hmmm. Actually, the tie needs breaking. Looks like it comes down to me.

Unvote

zombie urist
T-
Wait, really? Oh. Alright then, unvote.

I feel stupid now.
...So you leave it unvoted then?

As in, not on anyone? At all?
I wasn't planning to leave it unvoted. I was confused then. But now...

Zombie Urist: I really hope you're not a jester. You're acting scummy enough, though. You come out with a vote on Griffionday with absolutely no reasoning behind it, then when asked to present your case you switch it. You've been noncommittal the entire game. What is your reasoning for this? Also, you missed my question:
Zombie Urist: Are you a jester?

Doesn't Sheep's vote make this a hammer?

Yes. It does. Anyhow, I'll end it later. Time to sleep. No talking. Or else.

Eventually, the group continues to play along with the game. They decide on zombie urist, who's quite reasonably shocked and disappointed.

"Fellahs..." he pleads. "Did I do that poorly?"

After a few silent moments, some nods and yeses were heard.

"Well, shoot. Santa's not gonna like this one..."

Before anyone has time to stop him, webadict smashes him over the head.

"God dammit," says Griffionday. "Weren't we supposed to stop him from doing that this time?"

As webadict searches through his clothes, he remembers there's no point and steals whatever valuables he can.

"This man," starts webadict in an official-sounding voice, "is innocent!"

Toaster steps forward. "If I may?"

Webadict yields the floor.

"Zombie urist could not have stolen the Mathemagem!"

Gasps!

"You see, I noticed last night the man's hands were covered in soot. We of course know that zombie urist is a Coal Mage--"

"I think he prefers Anthramancer."

"... Right. Anthramancer. Anyhow, if zombie urist had stolen the Mathemagem, then there should have been coal dust at the scene. The absence proves, without a doubt, that he was innocent!"

More gasps!

TheWetSheep raises his hand. "Couldn't he have, you know, washed his hands or something?"

Toaster sends a sneer his way. "Why do I even try with these ignorant fools?"

"Both of you shut the fuck up," says Vector, who walks over to webadict. "And you," she starts, punching webadict right in the stomach, "can shut the fuck up, too." Webadict falls over. Vector points to the rest of them. "I want my Mathemagem back. I just wish there was someone here to loathe... Huh. Oh well."

Meanwhile, RangerCado fist pumps while checking his nonexistent stocks.

Nights last 24 hours or whenever all the actions are sent in.
It's been over 48 hours-- the night is over. Are you still alive, Wuba?

Yes, yes. I was planning on starting the Day last night, but I went to bed super early. I hate Monday and Tuesday nights.

As the sun rises, webadict sneaks into the house. He grabs a frying pan and starts cooking bacon. The rest of the house wakes up and runs into the kitchen.

"So, we're finishing the game."

Groans.

"Can I at least have bacon?" asks notquitethere.

"Not until you vote."

"That's my bacon!" shouts Hapah.

"Lynch someone and you'll get it back."

"But... bacon!"

webadict grabs the pan and holds it over the trash can. "If you want this bacon to remain in the pan, then you all better make a choice."

No one was killed.

TheWetSheep.

Why did you hammer before I got a chance to make an argument?

The good news is, no one was lynched again! The bad news is, I must have been possessed, for I am a vegetarian and bacon is anathema.

So what have we learned? Either there are only third parties without kills left to defeat in the game, scum didn't use their scumkill or scum were prevented somehow in making the kill. The last option seems the most likely. This means that someone actively blocked, delayed or protected someone (possibly themselves) last night. If we can identify a list of blocked (etc.) persons, then we have a good chance at identifying the scum.

I'll start: I could have been targeted by one of the lovers last night, but it seems hardly likely given how unsuccessful a course of action that would have appeared to them to be.

So what happened between here and here to make Zombie U the better vote?

Scum, you are seriously creeping me out...

TolyK:
I assume the fact that NQT is still alive means you antidoted him?

Thinking about the ability pair you have (poison and antidote) would you consider yourself a vigilante type of role?  Does your antidote allow you to multi-target or did you decide not to target again last night?

Vector:
Why did you hammer before I got a chance to make an argument?
I am still interested in your theory as to why you voted for ZU if you'd care to give it.

NQT:
The good news is, no one was lynched again! The bad news is, I must have been possessed, for I am a vegetarian and bacon is anathema.
Wait... your flavor text says that?

Also could you respond to here now that the night is over?

Tiruin:
Weelllll~ this was where my thoughts on what she did as compared to targeting Zrk, went.
Could you explain what this post meant to you, and why it cleared her of suspicion of targeting Zrk?  I'm trying to work out how you logic through such things.

Webadict:

Vector has her Mathamagem, which you stole btw, back now.  Why are you so anxious to get a lynch when the case is resolved?

Sure, I don't have a lot of time--but sometime today, you will get that reasoning.
