Maklak:
>Personally I'd merge sniper and gunner squads for now (I had good results with combat and hunting rifles) or at the very least put that sniper in a squad where she will get some cross-training in defensive skills.
What? No!
Once the VR is set up snipers need to train there NONSTOP, I'll set that reaction to run on repeat all the time.
And other skills wont be all that important, if I got my super valuable AMR snipers in melee then I'd be a shitty commander.
>>On another hoof I had the greatest idea ever, war trainable slaves.
>Meh, those will be pretty weak. It's better to cage trap some wildlife and try to domesticate it.
Oh not as war animals, war trainable so that I can assign them to whoever I want instead of putting them up for adoption.
Because slavery is magic.
>> 1 - Internal Affairs (Security Team)
>Tell me more about this. Is this a single weak pony with a wooden blunt weapon and no training?
Guess so, except I'll be using them as guards perhaps.
Haven't figured out what I want to do with the security team, still a bit early on to matter.
>Some fights are won by kicks to the head, but it's generally better to give them some weapons. I use chainsaws, because they are plenty, cause bleeding and often sever body parts.
Yeah well, I'll give them nothing at all because I am anal about assigning military castes weapons other than the one they specialize in.
>That's quite a lot of salvage. I got about that much good stuff in about 3 years.
Because of the shitty embarks you insist on going to.
Savage evil swamps I tells you.
>Hm, no steel or bronze and almost out of coal. You must be smelting scrap into iron. Bronze is about as good and more fuel-efficient.
Prismatic Smelter, smelting all the scrap since there is really not much I can do with it otherwise.
Haven't used a single unit of fuel.
When opening coal boxes you actually get coal in the form of boulders, which I still haven't touched (save for perhaps once).
>As for selling chainsaws, I'd keep any masterworks and sell lower quality ones. If I wasn't selling prepared meals instead, that is.
Of course, never sell masterwork weapons and armor.
>There's hardly any armour, but hey, pipbucks and gas masks for everypony.
Not yet anyways.
Soon I will have all the armor I'll ever want. c:
You wouldn't happen to remember if gas masks fit under security helmets and if gas masks make the units immune to pink cloud or if they need the full hazmat getup to live through it?
>You have the Protectapony AI gems, which, along with some cheap parts, can upgrade Protectaponies to make them better. 3 of them in fact, if you want to keep one AI gem to copy it later (I forgot and run out:( ).
Don't think I need to copy any gems with the salvage I get, and I'm not so sure how the robotics industry work, but this is good info, gonna try and get robotics up and running within the next few sessions.
Edit: Also, the three new player character screens are up.
