Use this knowledge wisely...

But, Pyro, I don't think eight games is enough; do you think there was a few more you could have out down in the same style/genre? The Patrician sort of goes in line with these types of games. Myself personally, I like to develop my character personally in their game world, regardless of whether its pre-defined or not. I do have a leaning towards free-roam, with or without defined or random events. I could go on more, but then it'd deviate away from video games and more into tabletop rpgs.
Good luck with this Pyro!

I also supplied some data. What would have been interesting for you could be the geographic distribution so you can analyze the cultural aspects.

Iirc. games of the Gothic series had a half-scripted, half emergent approach to give theyr NPCs life. This was kinda interresting but also became somewhat repitive when solely based on "needs" without including social interaction and selfdrive.

That's technically an action, not a speech... Well it was only a matter of time before I had to write another scene of utter and horrifying perversion.

As I was doing a lot of the literature reading it became apparent that this is a huge area of research and potential study. Most of it has been done in the areas of RPGs. Nothing really in the are of management games specifically. I could have read and read but time and topic constraints mean I have to be strict and stick to one, somewhat narrow area.

Data, data, everywhere, but not a dot to brink.

22+ must have a lot of data in it...

Almost what I was thinking.  I was actually suspecting you'd get a (very rough) U-shaped curve on any plot, even if you assume that the peak would lie in the centre-range of the graph if it were composed of more contiguous four-year groupings either side...  (Personally, I'm firmly in the third group.  Over twice as old people in the middle set, but you can imagine me as 22 or thereabouts if you wish... ;))  If the first grouping isn't as populous as I imagine, perhaps J-shaped, but I know we've historically had a few young 'uns around these parts...  (Who I suppose might now be older 'uns, and may not have been replenished, but still suspect it'll be J-shaped...)

Obvious typo "occure" on the seventh Game Play question explanatory note.  I also didn't know how to answer that one.  Even with the explanation.  Probably just not on the same wavelength w.r.t. your thoughts/perspective on this genre.

Well today I just got two responses with incorrect control question answers.
So, two obvious randomly/rashly-answered responses, meaning you assume a further 0.5 submissions were made with the same randomness/rashness, but lucked on the control answer anyway? ;)  (Not counting a possible tendency towards spamming the Control Question's answer either down the entire line or for anything not easily answerable!)

(Are you also analysing them according to early-responder/late-responder tendencies?  I only just spotted this, and immediately jumped in to answer, but there's always something to be said for comparing those that pounce upon surveys and answer them immediately to those that consider their responses (or even wish to respond!) and get around to it later.  Of course, that's usually better with a defined cohort of answerers who are prompted at a given point in time, and any remaining non-respondents increasingly nudged towards participating as a deadline approaches...  You've not got the same sort of definite population, nor consistently of notification.)
